    Please pray for Brittany Spears

    I don't care to follow the filth that passes as "popular culture" these days, but I was talking to my cousin Wilma today who told me about this singer, Brittany Spears, and how her life is falling apart. Apparently Miss Spears used to a mostly decent, largely Christian girl, but she started singing the devil's jungle music, dressing immodestly, and writhing around like a whore on stage.
    Now this woman who was once on the path to True Christianity(tm) has been captured by Satan, and lives a life of drugs and lunacy. Please pray for the Lord to snatch her out of the depravity that has become her everyday existence and bring her back to the narrow path and on the road to True Christianity(tm). Once her eyes are opened and her heart is starting to heal, we can send pastors to her palatial estate to help her establish Jesus in her life, find salvation, and establish a robust tithing schedule.
    God bless you all for your prayers to help this lost lamb find her way to the flock.

    I'm not sure that I've heard of her. Is she a Christian singer? Would I have seen her on The 700 Club or Benny Hinn?

        Probably not. I never even heard about her before my cousin started rambling on incessantly. I was trying to get word or two of scripture in edgewise, but she just kept yammering. But once Wilma said that Miss Spears once vowed to keep herself chaste until marriage, my ears perked up. Could this wretched excuse for a human being have actually been a Christian once?
        It turns out she was once a Southern Baptist (so like I said in my original post, "mostly Christian"), but once she started singing satanic rock, she put herself on the path to destruction. She never kept her vow and fornicated with the lead singer from one of those sodomite "boy bands", and even kept company with sinners such as Madonna (even kissing her on national television, it turns out (this must have been while I was unsaved myself and living in the convent, because if I had heard about this, I would have been petitioning the FCC to levy large fines against all concerned)) and abandoning Jesus for Jooish magic (Cabalers or something like that).

          It's possible we did, but what got my cousin so worked up was Miss Spears' recent incarceration in a loony bin. God obviously wasn't ready to save her last time, but this time may be different. He could well be breaking her down, ready to build her back up into His grace. I can't think of a better time for us to swoop in and bring her to Jesus.

            Well, I had to Google her name, but Miss Spears certainly looks as if she was a good girl at one point...



            ...so perhaps there is a bit of love for Jesus inside whatever hollow abomination she may have become.

                That's an odd way to spell her name. Why does she use quotes on it? Maybe she knows she's misspelling it.

                  I was in Walmart and I read the cover of a tabloid magazine; it said that she is bipolar. I hope that Jesus gets to her before the psychiatrists do, otherwise she'll be worshiping Lithium and Sigmund Freud in no time. Psychiatry may try and repair the mind, but does it repair the SOUL?

                    Better Jesus gets to her while she is still loony then, if she is cleansed of her mental impairness, she may not accept Jesus as her saviour. It seems to me that most of the True Christians suffer from some form of mental instability.

                              That was not really a valid marriage at all, because she had divorced her first husband and remarried...Jesus condemned divorce AND REMARRIAGE!
