Well, as a Christian, I have been trying to pray for Britney Spears. What inhibits my doing so is the fact that she has taken to placing herself in the company of MOOSELIMBS. One of them, a papparazzo named Ass-hat Something-or-other, she speaks of as her (please brace yourselves, brethren and cistern) boyfriend, and the other, something approximating Osambo Lusti (please bear with me; I cannot bring myself to check the actual spelling of their filthy heathen names), she claims is her "manager/handler"---although what it is he handles I shudder to think.

Nevertheless, I shall continue to try my best to do my Christian duty to beg our Lord Jesus to have mercy on this misguided, crazy slut's tarnished, soiled rag of a soul. Perhaps some few of us could gather as a prayer circle to raise our voices in unison to this end--calendars, errands, and social commitments permitting, of course. Our Lord did say, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:19-21 And frankly, being able to turn it into a bit of a social occasion would make thinking of her somewhat more palatable, especially if refreshments could be served.
