  • Pray for me - I used to be a Papist

    As a Delacroix, my ancestors were subjected to the colonial influence of the cathylicks of New Orleans as well as the debauchery of quadroons and octoroons. Finally, after decades of following the Romanists' false dogma, the LORD himself directed me to the brilliant light of Baptism.

    I seek an official pardon for not having mentioned this in my introduction earlier. Remorse now plagues my destitute soul, and has produced a cavernous void that can only be replenished by much thought and prayer. I am sorry, Brothers and Sisters of Landover. Truly, I am ashamed of my past. Will you forgive me?

    Well, Jesus says I have to forgive you; otherwise I'll go to hell (Mat 18:23-35). I just hope the sorrow you're feeling now leads to genuine repentance.

    2 Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

    And I will pray for you. Catholics are idolators, and God likes to punish the descendants of idolators.

    Ex 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me . . .

    My father was an exemplary True Christian(tm) man, but for many years he was afflicted with epilepsy. Our pastor and some other spiritual giants in the church got together with him and sought the cause of his ailment. They traced it back to his grandfather and great-uncle, who were Freemasons. They met for prayer the following week and broke the curse. From that moment, my father was healed. Perhaps you suffer a physical ailment because of your ancestors' sins.
    sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

      I will pray for you too, sister Mary, especially knowing how the Lord can be slow to forgive the horrible sins of our parents:

      Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

      I also ask the Lord in my prayers to find it in His grace to let the scourge of Mary worshipers someday die out. Although it is starting to happen, those idolaters, while ignoring so much of God's holy Word, seem awfully fond of this part.
