    Re: Please, pray for calm and reason to prevail in Scotland

    Sister, the plight of the godless Scots is occasionally on my mind and I have included your request for calm and reason in Scotland in my prayers a number of times. That is because there has never been calm and reason in Scotland since the beginning of time, over six thousand years ago!

    The Scots are a race of brutish, whiskey drinking cattle thieves. In olden times, they were a tribe of Mary worshipping Irish savages that came over to Scotland to seize the land because the godless, Jesus killing Romans killed off most of the Picts, who may have been Christians.

    The English, another tribe of godless buffoons, have been trying to run the Scots off ever since they arrived. They killed as many as they could before they figured out they could put them in the army and let Germans and Frenchmen kill them. That has been their plan ever since.

    My personal opinion is that a civil war should be encouraged by America, so as to weaken both sides. This is a method that has often proven efficatious in the past. Look at the Syrian civil war- America has already bombed both sides, equally and fairly. Almost everyone on both sides of this Scotland issue is a godless heathen and it would please God to see them smite each other.

      So Scotland going to remain in UK.

      But basically it was long decided, hundred years of english rule has destroyed Scottish language and culture. They are not even Catholic like Irish who can differentiate themselves from Protestant English.

      Scottish's ancestors who fought against english would be ashamed of this. I think immigrant votes made a lot of difference. Nevertheless Scotland going to get more autonomy, which will eventually clear it's way of succession from Britain.
      Explaining I love Jesus but hate Religion.
      Matthew 10:34: Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
      Matthew 10:35: For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

        More likely it will only mean lowering the drinking age to 1st trimester and deregulation of sanitation regulations for the swamp moss they use to 'clarify' their whiskey.

          Good point, Brother. The only thing I know about that cold and barren state, Scotland, is what I've heard about from that raunchy heaving bosom novel, Outlander. Drunks and fornicators, all.

          Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

            Things have gone very badly downhill in the almost 300 years since that was written, Sister.

            I for one am sick to death of the Scotch whining about independence and then, when we positively encourage them to leave, they beg to stay.

            You do know that it was the James VI, King of Scotland, who took over the English throne and not vice versa, don't you? So it is the English who have been oppressed by Scottish rule, not the other way round.

            The only culture those people have is the sort that grows in a petri dish.

              No tribe that eats Haggis could be considered civilized.

              In America, we don't even allow it to be imported at all and there is a penalty for making it. I believe they would allow it in Mexico or Cambodia, as they are habituated to gut eating there, but I digress.

              All the decent Scots came to America hundreds of years ago and threw off the Roman-Presbyterian yoke. Here, they are primarily Christian, though some are known to handle snakes.

                Yes. Things are calming down over here. I did what I was not supposed to do. Yes. Maybe I shall get bad karma, I really do not know.

                Many people here are laughing at Scotland now. I understand. It can be funny. I am happy that sometimes the path from laughing at someone to laughing with someone is a short one, eh? Yes, it can be! Please, laugh at Scotland. We were acting funny for a few days, now the damp winter is coming and there will be less laughter and more work.

                I was trying to look up laughter in your bible and I found 62 instances. They were mostly not laughter but 'slaughter'. Maybe there is a lesson there for you to learn, yes. And for me also. Laughter and slaughter. So similar, so easy to confuse non-violence with violence, yes. We are all learning all the time, yes!
                "Ecclesiastes 3:7
                A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."
                Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

                  I hope you found this passage, it has an important lesson for you:
                  Proverbs 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
                  Proverbs 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
                  Proverbs 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
                  O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

                  God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
