I used to think gardening was... gay or something. Definitely not manly, like yelling and drinking beer. Until I saw this (below). Now you can call me a hippy green nature loving sonovagun for all I care. Just ordered me one of these to help around the yard.

If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I know she cannot see this, being a woman and all, but Sister Basilissa I understand has a gift with spicy horticulture.

(P.S. Brother, perhaps a warning not to click that video link at full volume. Christ, my eardrums. )

      Re: Gardening

Hohoo, hello! It's me Phil, again! Just wanted to pop in here and show you guys something I saw this morning. It was my wife, Sue, who I saw getting a head start on spring gardening, making the most of her time in quarantine. She has taken to a lot of gardening lately ever since I caught the COVID, perhaps from a bout of paranoia of catching it too.

Anyway, I looked out the window and saw Sue digging a big massive ditch in my precious lawn! I can't for the life of me figure it out!? What's gotten into her? I'm debating over whether to give her hell or not. But then, perhaps she has her own reasons.

Can I ballpark some people's thoughts on this one? Do all wives garden like this? Perhaps she's gotten a bit too enthusiastic over Ecclesiastes 2:5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

      If it's a tree she's planting, I hope it's apple.

        Re: Gardening

My apologies, I didn't mean to post that verse from the lesser NIV Bible. This is what I meant to post:

        Ecclesiastes 2:5

I made me gardens and orchards, and I plantedtrees in them of all kind of fruits:

I much prefer the King James variation; orchards puts an elegant spin on a dull hobby.

Anyway, yes just what is my lovely deaf and dumb wife up too????

          Thank you for being honest.
