Where in the Bible does it say that speaking in tongues means hopping around spewing off random nonsense words? How does that give glory to God? What's the point? Also, how could you possibly know whether someone was really full of the Holy Ghost and not just faking?

The only time in the Bible when we see people speaking in tongues is absolutely nothing like what you Pentecostals do. What happened was the the disciples were preaching in the streets in their own language, but everyone there heard and understood them in their own native tongues. Now, if you could show evidence at being able to do that, I might believe you are full of the Holy Spirit. As it stands, I think what you do resembles demonic possession more closely.

alright, i do agree there are alot of people and congregations that i think have "spirits" that resemble the infilling of the holy ghost, but are false and imataters, leading others away from truth and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

there are a couple different "tounges"
one is the holy spirit giveing u a launguage to speak to others.
another is to ediffy the church. wich is fallowed by interpretation.
another is to edify your spirit. wich through the holy ghost u speak things that u cant comprehend on your own, and it is its own launguage.

there is more to the holy ghost than just speaking in tounges
there is prophecy
interpretation
and others
its different gifts and tools that god gives us if we accept and beleive to fullfill his will with.
being filled is change. a complete change inside and even out. to be more like christ and have him inside you to be closer to him, to have a relationship, and to give u that little nudge.
the holyspirit is our phone to Jesus to sort to say. with inlimited minuts, so we can know Jesus for who He is, not what he is and what he has and will do. the whole resone he came to be our sacrifice is to have a relationship with us.

Beating women is definitely not excusable under any bible or religion...

And... "Unsaved, Unwelcome".. Isn't the whole meaning of your religion to bring people to Jesus? Unsaved Unwelcome is on the Banner. That just confuses me. You're reversing the role of what Jesus intended and all the time he spent on Earth you're putting to waste. It's ignorant misunderstandings of the bible like this that make me sick, And what kind of bible are you getting this kind of behavior from? Even literal interpretations don't support this.

Also praying should be done to praise Jesus, not for punishment. Yes, you should repent and ask forgiveness of your sins, but by faith this should be done. This should not be put into the hands of the Husband to punish her. God will have his judgment, and the husband should be doing his job to better his wife not literally beat her down. Beatings are not constructive what so ever. She is not a child.
