God is obviously a man. Look at the Bible. In both the Ancient Hebrew of the Old Testament and the Greek of the New, God is referred to in the masculine form, with masculine pronouns, 100% exclusively. Every title, name, or symbol of God in the Bible is male. He is called FATHER. Jesus is the SON. He is a KING. He is the GROOM of the Church. In the Song of Solomon, God is symbolized by a man. In every parable of Jesus, God is symbolized by a man. The Holy Spirit impregnated a woman, making Him obviously a male. If this was an arbitrary choice, then either gender could be used. Yet not once did God allow Himself to be referred in the female form. If God did not accept it, neither do we.

BTW, you obviously presuppose God is male as well, or have you ever prayed to "Goddess" ?

Actually, I am retired. Nine years now. I drive the truck for the chance to reflect and see the country. And I have a double master, not that it matters as I am 'merely a truck driver' now.

He is reffered to as a man because well what else do you call him, and yes thank you I know its god not godess. That was not my point the point was he does not have the earthly restrictions of being either one or the other.

You made a good point but my question was if he created us in his image where did the female form come from? or dark skin?
