I can imagine the kind of women who raised you....ugly doormats that let their husband and sons walk all over them and then died unfulfilled and miserable in the realization that they had thoroughly wasted their lives "raising" such trash.

Women don't disappear when their kids are born like so many "men" do. Women stay behind and face the music--they often step up and raise their children alone, and this means they have to grow a backbone because quiet, doormat women can't make it on their own, let alone raise a child.

So if some of that moxy rubs off on future generations, it's a good thing! Women have to look out for themselves and not rely on the faux "men" who just want to stifle and use up their girlfriends and wives..

im a good person and i believe in god fully...I have an Aunt Bev who is the most Godly woman i know and i cant believe you actually believe it is ok for you to do this to your wives.. I have read the passages in the bible and NO WHERE I REPEAT NO WHERE DOES IT SAY hit your wife discipline her yes punish her yes but under no circumstances is it ok to beat your wife you are sick individuals and your wives must be cowardly dogs to just accept this treatment i am a strong woman and im going to make something of my life just as God intended me to not just some dog you breed with and as for keeping her busier thats a very rude horribly inconsiderate thing to say give her a tooth brush to scrub the toliet WOW you really are living in the dark ages in case you havent noticed we almost had a woman president men are just frightened that a woman can be smarter than them you are cowardly pigs and in no way a representation of our God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit this whole forum is an abomination

Little girl, you sound angry with God. Haven't you read your Bible passages where it explicity states that men are superior to women? Paul told us that just as Christ is the head of us, men are the head to women. The head controls the body.

You must understand, sometimes a little tough love is needed, be it with the back of a hand, a leather belt, or a hot stove. What is important is the intent behind it: We men love our wives and look after their souls. Since they are women and don't know what's best for themselves, they rely on us to keep us on the straight and narrow.

We are good, Christian men. Please do not disrupt our brotherhood again.

Yes i am married. I go to Jesus of the Nazareth Baptist church on 55th avenue and 35th way north. and i thank you for your notcing my attitude change my husband found the way i was speaking unacceptable and commanded me at once to fix my misdeeds

Where does God specify the punishment/discipline?

There is a difference between a disciplinary action (a spanking) and "beating" someone (fists, etc.). One is Godly discipline, one is abuse. Can you not tell the difference? Do you call the police when a mother spanks her child?

Where does the Bible say God intended you to do anything but help men? That's how the creation of Eve was justified in Genesis, to be a "help meet" (that is, a "suitable assistant") for Adam. Women are intended to serve men, not to be "people" in their own "right".
