I'm thinking that this guy attempted to administer some discipline to his Negress concubine. I suspect that it was an unsuccessful attempt and that she in turn, beat this wimp into a pulp. This explains his obvious anger!

In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

Re: What are proper ways to administer discipline?

I must digress about this subject. Didn't God say to follow the law of the land as well as his own, or something to that effect? In saying that wouln't that also make hitting a woman wrong in not only the Laws eyes but also God's? Just a worthless female asking questions, I'll go back to my kitchen now.

Marriage is not a partnership! Just as there can only be one king, one ceo, one president, there can be only one head of the house. Stop feeding in to this type of pc nonsense!

Hello Mr. O'String! Welcome to God's favorite forum! Please take some time and review the Pastor's Rules and Announcements, paying particular attention to the "noobs" thread. Once you've done that please post your introduction on the introduction forum.

            Thanks!

Yes he was, but so what? Did Brother Lazarus say anything rude or dismissive to him? No, he simply said he should follow the basic courtesy of our website and post an introduction.

Do all atheists have such low reading comprehension skills?

I'm not an Atheist. Told you that already. Oh and stop sinning. I don't like sinners. Judging me and such...

Re: What are proper ways to administer discipline?

Wherever did you get the idea that judging is a sin? We've answered this common delusion of the Biblically-illiterate several times, notably here: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=2816

                    3. "Christians aren't allowed to judge anyone."
                    Incorrect.
Instead, the Holy Bible actually COMMANDS us to judge, as long as we judge according to, and in, righteousness.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
                    1 Corinthians 2:15

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment:
Thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty:
But in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
                    Leviticus 19:15

Re: What are proper ways to administer discipline?

Then in that case you have failed judgment 101. You have failed to judge righteously.

And who's to say that I'm not righteous? You? You're own judgment of me? You don't even know me. I don't give a damn what the bible says if it allows pricks like you to cast your judgment apon me. I hope you freeze in hell.

Re: What are proper ways to administer discipline?

Cute. You typical "agnostic" (faker atheist) response. They come on to OUR boards, and look their noses down on US, and call US every foul name under the sun. Then when we tell them what the Bible says, they get their panties in a knot, saying WE need to be more loving, that we need to not judge, while they simultaneously judge and insult us, and sentence us to hell, and call it love.

We want to save you from hell. You don't believe in hell, but if it existed you want us to go there. So explain to me why you are the open-minded, loving one?

Typical Christan response. Avoid the question and throw out another.

I'll ask again since you obviously can't read.

1."You are own judgement of me"? Plain American, heathen, speak it!

                              2. The Bible (The Word Of God!) is what gives us righteous Christians superiority over you feeble-minded atheists. Read virtually any verse in an AV1611 KJV Bible, and it will tell you what we've been trying to convey to you and your thick skull all along: you are inferior trash that is in need of being saved.

Proverbs 23:14- "Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell."

Should point 2 be 1 or is proper English speech more important then the fact that you think you are better then anyone who believes different then you do? I suppose that's what you think.

I suggest you get off your soapbox.
