I'm due to be married in three weeks from now, and I'm more than excited. But I'm also scared. Now Ashley isn't a bad girl, and her father says that he has rarely had to punish her for anything. But what if she has a rebellious streak, I don't know how hard to hit, how long to punish, or any of that. My father said I'd have to learn from doing, but he also said he never really had to punish my mother all that often. Can some of you help me?

When she messes up, don't worry about how hard to hit or where to hit. Just let one fly and see where it lands. I'll tell you now that women have a lot of wily tactics to get out of punishment, so don't be fooled!
She may fall down, or maybe she'll pretend to be unconscious, or she might feign crying. We know from the Garden of Eden how crafty and sneaky womenfolk are.
Just remember what GOD has told us about beating our family and slaves:

Her pies are amazing. Her boisen berry pie is my favorite. She made some tonight for the two families.Matthew 6:26

I'd give her a daily paddling just for good measure. Keep her guessing...
Take a look at THIS testimony from a wife who understands her place.

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Re: Almost Newly Wed
That was very enlightening, dont you wish all females were like that? The future Mrs. Beck is much like that woman, and respects her place in a household. Her father pulled me aside earlier, along with my father and explained to me what he expected me as a husband and a father. I only hope that I can be at least half the husband my father was.Matthew 6:26

Re: Almost Newly Wed
You should never ever hit a woman. EVER. Guys mess up just as much as women. Marriage is a partnership, not a dictatorship. Hitting your wife or husband is domestic abuse and you can be put in jail for it.A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back. Proverbs 26:3

Re: Almost Newly Wed
So you're saying a man should be apathetic about his wife's spiritual destiny and allow her to carry on in a manner unbecoming a proper wife and end up in Hell? Isn't that cruel?Originally posted by Godlovesall View PostYou should never ever hit a woman. EVER. Guys mess up just as much as women. Marriage is a partnership, not a dictatorship. Re: Almost Newly Wed
You think it is acceptable to raise a hand to your wife. Any man or woman who hits his/her spouse should be persecuted to the full extent of the law. What if your daughter was beaten every day by a boyfriend for "messing up". what exactly would a woman have to do to warrant a beating from a man who "loves her". Fold his socks wrong? Burn a pie? Inability to get pregnant? What matters is what you do while your alive. If your a man of god who beats his wife YOU diverse to end up in Hell. NO all loving God would allow a husband to be physically abusive. I read on another thread that a mans father used to punch his wife in the stomach while she was pregnant. That is cruel, that is wrong and she should have left him long before it happened. What is the matter with you people. It is your job to protect your family from people who would do them harm, instead you advocate harm. You sicken me to my very core.Originally posted by Rev. Re: Almost Newly Wed
Yes, as long as it is brought lovingly, yet firmly into corporal contact with her backside repeatedly until she has learned humility toward her man.Originally posted by Godlovesally View PostYou think it is acceptable to raise a hand to your wife.
We all know that True Christians™ are often persecuted for believing in and adhering to every last detail of the 1611 King James Bible. Sadly, that will likely remain true until the Rapture.Any man or woman who hits his/her spouse should be persecuted to the full extent of the law.
This question's premise is absurd. No daughter of mine would ever need to be beaten every day anymore by the time she's old enough to date the man I've chosen for her to marry. Duh.What if your daughter was beaten every day by a boyfriend for "messing up". what exactly would a woman have to do to warrant a beating from a man who "loves her".
For the first time, of course not.Fold his socks wrong?
Depends. Was the cooking appliance malfunctioning? Was it the first time?Burn a pie?
If she has been determined to be "barren", then she should know the next step in ensuring that soldiers for Christ are produced.Inability to get pregnant?
Genesis 16:1-3 1Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
2And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
3And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
My Bible (KJV1611) is open and I stand ready to turn to the chapter and verse that backs up what you're saying here. Now, where is that, exactly? What matters is what you do while your alive. If your a man of god who beats his wife YOU diverse to end up in Hell. NO all loving God would allow a husband to be physically abusive.
Unless he knows a demon resides in the womb, punching a woman in her stomach when she is pregnant is something we would never advocate or encourage. It is completely unnecessary when other forms of corporal punishment would certainly suffice. True Christian™ men will always defend their families from harm with every fiber of their beings. Far be it for you to presume otherwise, you little tart.I read on another thread that a mans father used to punch his wife in the stomach while she was pregnant. That is cruel, that is wrong and she should have left him long before it happened. What is the matter with you people. It is your job to protect your family from people who would do them harm, instead you advocate harm. You sicken me to my very core.
GOT DEMONS? WE CAN HELP! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT THEM ALONE! JESUS WANTS YOU TO BE RID OF THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL! YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO IT ALONE! LET US HELP YOU RIGHT AWAY!

Re: Almost Newly Wed
In a loving relationship, it should be exceedingly rare to have to raise a hand to your wife. And, in those rare instances that you have to, follow the pioneering ways of the Snerdly family. The Snerdlys refused to hit their women with a closed fist, long before it became fashionable. Now, it is not always easy to maintain such control, but in the long run, it is the way God had intended.

Re: Almost Newly Wed
I don't want to have to hurt her in anyway. I don't like violence, and I don't like hitting people, except in sports. But I wont have an issue with smacking her mouth a few times if she gets snotty with me. She rarely lets an attitude show, and does as she is told to do, so I give her more free reign because I know she wont step out of line.Matthew 6:26
