Oh, I thought she was asking what happened when a man messed up in his duty to discipline his wife...is she actually implying that there should be physical discipline for a man when he sins also?

That is for God to decide, not a wife

What she doesn't comprehend is that Godly obedience is designed for True Christian™ husbands and wives. True Christian™ husbands behave towards their wives as Christ behaves towards the church (Ephesians 5:25). The idea that a True Christian™ man would "mess up" is as inconceivable as the idea that Christ Himself would "mess up." This reveals the atheist's utter ignorance in the matter of all things Spiritual.

Amen Brother Elmer. The divorce rate in God's country has been an embarrassment for many decades now. Landover University has devoted some advanced study to the subject of Domestic Discipline. Spankings are necessary to punish or discourage nascent feminine misbehavior, provide a reminder of the woman's responsibilities, and enhance feminine submission. Where serious infraction occur, a full-fledged punishment spanking, where she is scolded, stripped and spanked to tears, is necessary for correction. Often times only a minor disciplinary session is required to correct minor examples of feminine misbehavior without having to go through the entire, lengthy process of a punishment spanking. My father spanked me with a belt when I was a small child.He also molested me and my sisters. Because he did both of these things to me(and often did so to make me sexually obedient), I have a strong connectionbetween sexual stimulation and spanking. I cannot even describe to you thecomplications this has caused in my life, the shame and self-loathing I havefelt and how those emotions have caused me to mistreat myself.

I was also a target for other predators who could tell thatI was a sexualized child and who followed orders, and therefore I was abused byother men and boys growing up. In junior high school I went to Catholic catechismclasses where I was taught that people who have sex prior to marriage would goto hell. I hadn’t ever been raped, I was still a virgin, but I condemned myselfbased on these teachings because I had taken part in various sexual acts.Because I already felt that I was condemned, and because I’d learned that I washelpless in a sexual situations, I allowed boys to have their way with me a asa teenager. It caused me to feel worse about myself, which I believe only causedme to act out more. I wanted boys and men to mistreat me, dominate me, spankme, abuse me, and use me sexually (just as my daddy had done). I wanted to betreated like a whore, because deep inside, I felt that that was what I deserved.I also turned to drugs, attempted suicide and learned to inflict pain onmyself. I have learned that this is very common for survivors of sexual abuse.Many of the women who are attracted to men who dominate and punish them, havepasts such as mine. That is a sad truth. Some do not recall or understand why.Also, many men who dominate women come from similar homes.

I don’t know how therest of you feel, but I have a personal relationship with Jesus. If it were notfor that, I am not sure that healing would have been possible. It is through Christthat we are forgiven our sins and it is Christ who freed me of the pain andself -loathing that I had felt for so long. He made my sins “white as snow,”and I am no longer ashamed of my past. I understand why I did what I did and Iam grateful for the healing which I have received. It has made me a strongerperson and has enabled me to help others. I don’t feel that it is God’s will for the world to be in the conditionit is in, nor for families such as mine to be afflicted with such a mental/sexualsickness. I believe that this is what Christ can save us from. I am fortunate,because sadly, many are never saved. (Even some who believe they are.) Theycontinue to suffer from the sins of their fathers and the generational traumaswhich are learned and repeated. We have to be healed as individuals so that wedo not pass these sicknesses onto our children.

To truly heal; I had to reject many of the ideas which Ihave been taught. For me not to feel self-loathing, I had to learn self-love. I’dbeen taught to be humble, that my nature was evil… Though humility has itsplace, it is much different than blind obedience and my true nature is notevil. I was created in the likeness of Christ, and there is no evil in hisways. When I am true to my true self, Iam true to God. When I show love to myself, I show love to God. I do not believe that the ways described inthe Old Testament are the ways that Christ intends for us to live; I believe hebrought a new covenant. I believe that he brought us forgiveness of sins tofree us from the shackles of the past (described in the OLD Testament). If hehas made me pure and forgiven my sin, then what gives any man the right topunish me? I have been made perfect in his sight and therefore I am perfect, justthe way I am, even though those who are afflicted may not be able to see it. Hegives us this so that we may forgive ourselves, learn to love ourselves, and sothat we know joy, happiness, and peace. I personally do not feel that allowing aman to spank me will bring me these things. In fact, I believe it would bringthe opposite as I know that such an event has physiological power and can sendme back into that dark place from which I came. Fortunately, Christ would stilloffer forgiveness and help me recover.

I wish you all the love of Christ. I believe that if youknew his love, you would never abuse your wife by beating her with a 7 iron,nor would you humiliate or subjugate her. That is not what Christ offers eachof us and we are to live his ways, not these old ways. He can help you eachother come the pain of such ignorance.

One doesn't have to limit spanking to the behind. A woman can be spanked on her arms, legs, and even in the face.
