I newly joined the site because I could use some help. My wife and I are both followers of Christ and newly married... but her misbehavior is concerning to me. I worry that she has been influenced by the demons in our country — women that believe they, in any right, can reign equal in our society. Feminists. We had agreed to practicing domestic discipline from the day we said "Til Death." I know she is young, so she is impressionable. She's in her early 20s and I'm in my 30s. Before me, she wasn't foreign to getting a good spanking... but it's been awhile now, and I know I need to step up so she can see I am her leader & guardian, as Christ demands.

At our last family dinner with my family, she spoke poorly to my father. In public, many times, she has back talked, been shrill, not followed up with her chores etc. When I see her misbehavior, I grab her by the arm and take her to the spanking chair, but... she RESISTS taking her spanking, like a good woman SHOULD. I fear she is forgetting her place, and I need to remind her who is the Head of House. The spankings I give are NOT light, but she feels that I am taking away too much of her control, and keeps fighting.

Fed up, recently, I resorted to buying her diapers, and forcefully taping her in. This helped her reach back into a very submissive place immediately... blushing and humiliated. I see an improvement. I don't know if anyone else ever disciplines their wife in this way, but taking away her control has been of great help. I lock her in a diaper and take her out to run errands, so she can feel the shame if anyone else is watching... and in that way, I feel that she can only depend on me, and must do what I say.

When she isn't diapered, she isn't always so obedient. I've given her a spanking in public before (just a couple swats) because I need her to know that no matter where we are, she's going to get it if she acts up. Yet she keeps disobeying her Man! Like she's challenging me. I feel she doesn't understand how important regular spankings are for her growth as a young woman. I do not feel that ANY WOMAN, EVER, should go without a regular spanking. ALL women, regardless of how "good" they act, need to be thrown over their Man's knee, consistently. No matter their beliefs or if they'll get a good one, they still NEED one.

CDD is consensual, but if I need to throw her over my shoulder to the spanking chair, because she's resisting her well earned discipline.. am I wrong to do that? Or force her beneath my arm and pin her down? We did agree to CDD upon marriage, but she can be so unruly... and I'm just not sure if what I'm doing is in line with The Lord's word! She's not just crying, but whining and kicking like a child when she's getting it good! I've been praying about how disobedient she is, asking the Lord to guide me, because so many of you discuss that your wives are submissive without question. My wife is not.

This is thanks, undoubtedly, to all of those Gloria Steinem types. Goodness knows how horrible it was during the early 1970s when these "women's lib" people were on the streets, encouraging other women to burn their upper undergarments!

Might it be that your wife has been sneaking onto the retro TV channel late at night, to learn rebellious habits from Maude? If so, kindly remove any TV-watching privileges from her, and ensure that she uses the time, instead, to study the beloved .

If you, as the Man, decided to go for the weddings vow lite version and cut out the word "obey", then you only have yourself to blame. Ephesians 5:24 is how the best marriages work. Mr. Mark, you seem quite sincere and based on my pre-Salvation™ life, I can somewhat relate to your troubles albeit I find the slightly scatological take on the issue less tasteful. That said. Your heart is in the right place but you need God's word to fulfill His wonderful view of domestic life.
