Everyone can see that's what you said, and that you're a perverted little sodomite.

Aren't you ashamed of yourself for behaving like this?
Being a lying and cheating sodomite?

Yea, sure why not as long as it shuts you up.

Well, Praise Jesus that you admit your own sinful behaviour!
It's too bad you have to be rude while you do it though, we're only trying to help you.

Hmmm.. You must mistake me for one of your emo friends.
Boy, nobody is crying here. (Unless you are, I don't know.)

Anyways, we should get back on track..
Which is if you discipline your wife properly or not.
Consider your childish rants ignored for now.

Do ignore those rants, it's a confused child barely out of puberty whose father beat in a less than correct and correcful way (as we now see...)

Well, some of us have to show up at our jobs every morning.
Acts 13:8 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

The Holy Ghost tells us. One good backhand is usually sufficient.

Dispensing discipline is God's way of demonstrating His love. To tolerate insubordination or backtalk is hardly loving.

Try actually READING the Holy Bible before barging into a Christian forum and tearing it apart. Also, take a look at THIS thread for newbies like you.

Re: Do you spank your wife?

I realize that this is a men's forum but honestly I am hurt to see all the tearing down that is done back and forth in this entire forum. I am saying this in love and I want you to know that I really don't think you honestly should be in a role of leadership in the church Ezekiel. What you post in this forum says to me that you really don't care about how what you say will affect those around you and it is sad to see that the world classifies you as "christian".

Throughout Scripture if God was disciplining his people He would ALWAYS offer them hope. A chance to growth and run back to Him. Our purpose here on earth is not to get married have a good family, life a good life and then go to heaven. Our only purpose here is to glorify God.

The reason that Jesus rebuked the Pharisees in the first place was because of how they twisted and simplified the Gospel into a list of rules of do's and dont's and completely missing the point. In one word it is called legalism. Which I am sad to say is what I see a lot of on this forum.

Real Christianity in essence is about relationship not religion. Excuse me if I am off topic here, but I felt this was something that needed to be said.

One other thing. When I ever needed someone to let me know I needed to clean up my attitude. It was far more effective to have the person who cared take me aside and with gentleness and love explain what I was doing was wrong. I remembered that much longer than any yelling session or physical discipline ever could, because that person had the maturity to treat me as an equal, because we are all equal before God. He does not have favorites and so I think it is wise for us to not show favoritism as well.

                            Galatians 2:6
But from those who seemed to be something—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man—for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me.

                            Have a good evening

Re: Do you spank your wife?

You know Ezekiel (I don't feel you deserve the title of pastor) it is too bad you feel that way. Thankfully then I'm not married to you, or any other man who would beat me. I seems that I am the one backing myself up with Scripture not you.

By the way where does it say in Scripture that men should beat their wives?

Also you might want to take a look in the mirror of the Word and ask yourself: How is my life and standards and speech and thoughts compare to what the Scriptures say?

                              2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified

                              2 Corinthians 10:5
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

If you think I am trying to be self-righteous or anything like that, that is not my intent. My intent is to help you take a look at your life and see how it compares to Scripture. Do word studies if you want. I still struggle with these verses myself, but I still see God working through me to conform me more to the image of Christ.

I also feel sorry that you feel the need to use fool language and insults to talk with someone.

God condones many things in scripture, for instance cannibalism

                                Deuteronomy 28:53

And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

or for man to man to give up his daughters and sluts

                                Judges 19:22-29
Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.

Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.

And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.

And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

So what makes you think that God does not approve of a man beating his wife?

                                Leviticus 26:27-29

                                27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
