Think about this, dear. You're proposing to call child protective services to report a man raising his son as a Christian. Is this really what you want? I wonder if you think memories of your studies will bring you any comfort when you are suffering in Hell at the hands of Satan and his minions. Or do you think that when you reflect on the name Mercy, you'll wish you had considered accepting the Mercy of CHRIST while you were alive? I'm just curious. I accept that not everything is Christian, just as I accept that everything which isn't Christian is fallen and belonging only to the devil and the world of sin which man inherited. Is it at all possible to accept that as loving Christian parents, we will not be letting our children play games which we believe goes against the word of GOD?

So no, I am not just "bashing" this game, I am taking the fight to the source of this new golden calf that is twisting the minds of young people, and even if the rest of the heathen world falls to darkness, I will make sure that no innocent child raised in beautiful Freehold, Iowa ever has to suffer delusion or the devil's works because of this game.

Job 21:11-15, it doesn't matter to my soul how many wicked sinners play this game because I know that I am saved, but rejection of the LORD is like a virus, tempting person after person to fall to apostasy if they lack the fortitude to resist peer pressure. That's how the devil reaches Christian children, by appealing to their friends, and by making sin look so good, so fun, so bright and colorful and exciting.

By all means, I welcome the legions of sweaty neckbeards who want to come defend their precious game to come and hear the word of GOD, or would you rather try and pretend like the LORD is beneath you? What's the matter, afraid some of your buddies might hear and wise up? If you were smart, you'd be the first among them to return to CHRIST'S flock, and then you would be the cool guy who did it before everyone else.

I know people who would play videogames every waking moment in the day, (and sometimes extending those "waking moments" by guzzling Mountain Dew and Starburst jelly beans) if they were not coerced into leaving their keyboards long enough to take a shower or brush their teeth.


That is not what I call "having a life." My own life may not be jam-packed with "powerful audio" and "stunning graphics" but it is mostly lived in the three dimension world.


Even when I am staring at a computer screen--such as I am doing now--I think about what I am going to write and how it will effect people. I'm not just clicking away and blowing up pretend threats.


I am attempting to deal with one of the greatest threats to the security of the human race--ignorance. My particular specialty concerns people who are ignorant about the Bible. It has been the best-selling book ever printed ever since books have been printed.


Wars have been fought over it. Laws have been established because of it. Policies that effect the everyday lives of billions of people have been informed by the Bible. Yet, in an epic twist of irony, many of the people creating and implementing those policies are sorely ill-informed on the true contents of the Bible.


Many video games deal with high stakes and heroic concepts. The Bible deals in profound concepts and posits the highest stakes ever considered--the eternal fate of every person ever born and the ultimate fate of this planet we were born to.


Knowing the Bible as I do does not mean that I don't "have a life." Unlike the players in the fantasy world of video games, I am well aware that I won't be "re-spawning" after I die. So, I want to do something more with the one life that I have than to just play.


And I don't want the greatest battle in my life to be about other people's preference to spend their lives in pretend battles.

I have to respond to this because I just cant let this slip.And according to you guys you may find me a sin lover and a Satan worshiper because of my opinion, but I will tell you this: I am young, I am Christian, but I do play Overwatch regularly. I have a normal life, and I can tell you, everything you do here is a warped, dis tangled and wrong interpretation of everything. I came across this forum because of a video doing a reading of poppendorfers original post. I couldn't let this slip, and when I saw that it was real and everything else you've done, I told myself this isn't OK. Even working on my first post here, your smileys are all so bigoted and wrong. You claim that Overwatch is evil because its promoting a violent manner, yet you have an emoji of literally bombing people. Its sadistic, really. I'm letting my opinion out on the internet and I'm doing it with glory. And I will also say this. You claim that Ana is the scourge of the game because her vaccinations cause autism. I main Ana. Her backstory is all she ever wanted is her daughter to live a normal life while she stood back with her group to help protect people and save them. Under a false conspiracy, she was flushed out and was presumed dead. She used tools from other scientists that could be used to heal people and since then has been a rogue agent assisting those for the forces of good. But Reaper on the other hand, which you claim is the opposite, is in fact the twist of what Ana is. Reaper worked with a stealth division but due to his aggressive tactics which led to innocent deaths, he was removed and became a renowned terrorist. Reaper is the main villain of the game. Maybe if you got your head out of the gutter and into the real world maybe then you would see what the truth of this planet actually brought. And maybe bring some peace to the other religions out in the world as well.

Thank you for your assurances that you are young and that you are a Christian and that you play Overwatch regularly. The first and last are not such extraordinary claims as your wall of text and rapid descent into a ridiculous fantasy world are indicative of both. However, calling yourself a Christian is not such a believable claim.

You see, someone who truly loves Jesus wouldn't spend his time promoting and supporting homosexuality and feminazism, two ideologies that make Jesus hopping mad. That's like filling a paper bag with your dog's poo-poo, setting it on the doorstep of your crush, lighting it on fire, ringing the doorbell and running away, and calling it Romance. I am ashamed to hear that someone like you, and the OP, and the rest of the posts above yours claim to be Christians. The OP wants to beat the sin out of his son? Tell me in the scriptures where that is proper. Mind you, there is a fine fine line between discipline and abuse.

And you, you suppose you know the scriptures by suggesting a devilish torment in hell. If you did actually know them, then you wouldn't think of suggesting that satan will torture anyone in hell. Hell was created for the angels as a prison. Each individual will suffer their own torment, angels and satan included. He will not reign over hell, or the lake of fire. He and they will be prisoners as much as anyone else.

Your graphic description is a display of your twisted imagination and mind. I sincerely hope that you would find a real church that doesn't teach ungodly concepts.
