i am an overwatch player, and I was here to say my opinion about this therad
but instead, i saw the posts of another players and I didn't like the way they express, so I apologize for the Behavior of my fellow players.


i know why they act like that, and thats because they think that thread is a joke, some of the names or personalities of the characters are wrong. For example, in the first post, you mention a character named "Genji", but in the next post it appears as "Benji Shimada". so i recommend to do a deeper research, so you can mark the bad things that the game has, from a more objetive view and you don get so many angry players

I play this game and I must say it could be much worse. Call of Duty and Battlefield are much worse with much more realistic depictions of violence. To say their is no need for this game is as silly as saying the world is at total peace. Precision is everything as well as strategy. This is not a perfect world,(excuse me for un-exact paraphrasing) you are sheep thrown in the den of wolves, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. You cannot be shrewd without pushing the absolute limits of consciousness and furthering your own thought strategems [video games help build advanced stratagems].


However, I am very disappointed in this game and the company at the present. They pandered a hero "tracer" as a lesbian because the minority of "lgbt" kept spamming and pushing for one. I for one wish the game and company had stayed out of the persuasion the media forces on this country. Truth be told "lgbt" is a choice; no one is born that way. If people were born that way then it would be linked to a gene, seeing as they don't reproduce, the gene would have died off a long time ago. Furthermore, no animals in the animal kingdom produce this kind of behaviour; and the reason is because animals follow instinct. Being gay is a conscious decision and not instinct, and I feel it is mostly linked to some kind of trauma in the person's past.


And back to the "we'll enjoy watching you scream in agony and pain"; trust me you would not want any human to endure that. It is more than a lake of fire. Add to it being pushed to the brink of oblivion and at total insanity, but God will not allow you to take that last millimeter of a step to end the suffering.


The world is full of awful things. Our God is a forgiving one. I believe (my opinion we all deserve one) that a cartoon styled game devoid of graphic bloody violence is not one to be feared. There is much worse that is unseen and unknown by human-kind until your eyes have been opened. Pray for others and their salvation. And above all else be grateful for a God that is forgiving and full of love.

Hello, my fellow Overwatch player. After reading through this thread I can confidently say that this thread is NOT a joke.


If you take the time to truly read what is being said, and think about the points being made, you'll come to the realization that Overwatch has some really prevalent anti-Christian themes and messages that are simply unnaceptable for Christian youth and young adults such as myself. I'm genuinely appalled at how much of this satanic, secular, and progressive corruption slipped right under my nose while playing this "game", if I can even call it that anymore. Overwatch is simply an affront to GOD.


This thread has really opened my eyes how far my idle minded hedonism has let me stray from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I need to redeem myself, and pray for forgiveness.


I'm going to go throw my digital copy of Overwatch into the nearest dumpster as soon as I post this. I would advise you do the same. At least it will be a step in the right direction, away from this Godless "entertainment", and towards becoming more of a True Christian™.

Judgment comes after death. God already knows who will repent so any time element for the living is irrelevant. I've chosen a fairly simple passage about after death to answer your question but its point in context is about Jesus rather than self obsessed humans, other than Christians who are perfect and therefore not self obsessed. Initially when God tired of heathens wallowing in sin which mainly took the form of idolatry He revealed a way to compensate for the vile act of Eve. Blasting all her progeny didn't really work out what with the intercopulation described in Genesis resulting in hybrid freaks. Even then some sort of contaminant survived with the new compulsion described in terms of genital viewing which resulted in abundant temple orgies. These are the false religions. By spraying people with blood a covenant was cemented whereby God might be satisfied as regards punishment. Thenceforth a priest could offer blood to cleanse the people. The high priest using double blood could approach God more directly. In this way God could overlook the vileness of His chosen few for the time being but He would really prefer a different kind of blood.

But you already know that; nothing suggesting equality between belief systems can ever benefit humanity. The single most important outcome for anyone living is to choose Jesus. Jesus really loves us. He does not want us to be tortured forever. The magnitude of the torment He promises is really beyond our comprehension. The Bible describes it as drinking the wine of the wrath of God, poured without mixture into the cup of His indignation; torment with fire and brimstone so that the smoke belches for ever and ever with no respite. Jesus supervises that and we will be with Him.

The fruits of hard work are independent of how hard the work is. For example I spin wool but there is very little difference between the price of raw wool and spun wool. The added value is all in the plying process. Once that's done again what you can sell 3 ply wool for and what you can sell a knitted jumper for are about the same. But the plying is by far the easiest task. Someone thinking they were bettering humanity by making idols, say, or knitting up a wool/linen blend would be blasted into the pit forever.

The Bible explains all this quite clearly.
