This game is tied to Christianity, because everything is under Christ's purview. There is nothing that will not eventually be made subject to Him.

Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

We are engaged in a spiritual war in which we are required to take even every thought captive.

To add on to my point; think of how the world is in a mental tailspin right now. Pretty sure people don't want the world spazzing out (me being one of them) and they ain't getting what they want. Some complain about it, reject it, or embrace it. I embraced it primarily because it is what it is.
