Hello buddersquid360, and welcome to our friendly forums! It seems as if you've spent hours upon hours upon hours studying this. I wonder if you think memories of your studies will bring you any comfort when you are suffering in Hell at the hands of Satan and his minions. Do you think when they take turns using your rectum as a tallywhacker portal that reminiscing about cyborgs will decrease the pain and humiliation you'll endure? Or do you think that when you reflect on the name Mercy, you'll wish you had considered accepting the Mercy of CHRIST while you were alive? I'm just curious. Maybe then we'll shout down some of this little book report you've written to remind you of the good times you could have used reading the Holy Bible.

I'm not here to be mad like some others. I just have a few questions to ask, but I'll start by telling you about myself since I'm new here. I consider myself to be a proper working man. I've kept the Bible in my mind or hand for years. I've sang the praises of the Lord for years, as its one of my most favorite and fulfilling activities. Overwatch is based in the future, in a time when advanced technology has allowed humanity to flourish. As an engineer, building a better future is my job. Each hero uses advanced technology to aid them. Sometimes, this technology was never meant to be used for war, as in the case of Mei. Her "weapon" was meant to save lives by controlling local climates when they go awry. Before you say that these theoretical situations would be punishments from God, I would like to point out that at any point in a man or woman's life, they can turn to God. Punishment comes after death to give time to those who have yet to repent, yes?
Continuing on my previous point, Overwatch, in general, was an organization created to not only destroy sentient robots seeking to destroy their masters, but to better humanity with technology. You are currently using technology to better humanity as well. A very passive and slow rate of spread, but I imagine you gather a few to your cause every once in a while. So I ask, since Overwatch is an organization whose goal was to better humanity with technology, and you are doing the same (albeit via the Lord's word), does that make both groups evil or both groups good? You are both using a product of Man's work to accomplish a similar end goal.
Also, I will disprove your notion that Reaper is any sort of figure for Christ. One, jealousy. He caused the downfall of Overwatch because he was jealous of his friend who became it's leader. Jealousy, as "True Christians" should know, is a serious sin. Two, he commits murder as an assassin not in the Lord's name, but in vengeance. Similar can be said for Widowmaker, though she was brainwashed into such actions, diverted from any sort of righteous path because of terrorist intervention. Three, his apparel. Clearly, the black garb and skull(?) mask are representations of death itself, similar to figures found in certain mythologies found around the world.
Another question and I'll stop. In Overwatch, it is clear that life and death have no meaning. Characters even acknowledge the fact that they come back to life after dying. This GAME is no real representation of life, so any person with a proper mind should realize that it should not have any influence on their opinions. Is it sinful that someone should enjoy the fruits of their hard labor after a day, week, or even months or years working whether it be for the betterment of humanity or for God himself? The world is a lot different than it was when the Bible was compiled. We as humans have learned and have grown. We have touched things not of this planet. We have made ways to mass produce clothing, food, medicine. We've made some regrettable choices, but we've always learned and grown. Maybe we have earned enjoyment, even if we were never supposed to have it in the first place.

Aren't the special snowflakes the ones who believe in an invisible being and devote their lives to making him happy, when he will never acknowledge their existence or care even slightly about them?


We are just playing games for entertainment purposes, we don't care about the supposed religious connotations of the game, we just want to have some fun playing a well made game, with interesting characters.


I do have to say though, a special snowflake would be the kind of person to have no toleration for any views that oppose theirs and find reference to anti-Christian propaganda in anything, no matter how disconnected it is from reality.

Where on Earth did you get the delusion that Latin would be God's language? When God waited for the World to be mature enough to give us His Word in American, He used Hebrew and Greek as surrogates. The Latin Vulgate is actually a translation, but the Papist cult tries to fool the people to believe that it would be somehow "original". Admittedly, there are also some sections of Ezra and Daniel that were first written down in Aramaic, the vernacular of the day (that is also called Syriack). This is clearly stated in the final and purest form of the Bible:
