    LARP (Role playing Gamers)

    Hello all,

Recently this forum has had the fortune to welcome many new souls ready to accept Christ (or do whatever they want to do). What struck me most is that the newcomers seem to be attracted to the threads about games and this inspired me to delve a bit deeper.

I found out that those who play video games, especially the games where you play a fake character in an online world, are prone to actually play their games among us. They call it larping, which is supposed to stand for ¨live action role playing¨. This might seem benign. Actual footage taken from the scene might change your opinion:

    Stay safe amongst these gamers/larpers!

    Kind regards,

    Roland
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

Thank you for your timely warning, Mr. Roland. While you remain a repulsive Sinner in the eyes of Jesus (Psalms 14:1), we see in you a desperate soul crying out to Christ for help and assistance in the midst of rectal and other demons.

I looked into this thing and I must admit that I am flabbergasted! I thought that this "gaming" cult only harassed its victims in the Interwebs, but this total immersion into this fictional world instead of Real Life is extremely disturbing news for Sweet Jesus. The Pivotal Book in the Bible regarding these travesties in Philippians.

    Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We should stick to True™ things, things that are the only things that have been proven beyond any reasonable or unreasonable doubt.
    • The Life and Sacrifice of Jesus (John 1:14).
    • The Creation of the World 6000+ years ago ex nihilo (=void) by God through Jesus (John 1:3).
    • The Fall of Mankind because of the abominable act of the first Woman (Genesis 3:6)
    • The Flood, etc. (Genesis 6-9)

Instead, these "Larper" cultists dive deep into the world of childish fiction. This will lead them ultimately to sodomy and other types of unnatural fornication. Here we can see some cross-dressing Larper Cultists violating the clear instructions of Deuteronomy 22:5!

As always, Jesus is Merciful (Jonah 4:2) and leaves the door open for those Cultists who repent and wish to Glorify Christ by continuing to "larp" (is that a real verb ?).

    3 John 1:11
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

    Follow that which is Good!
This means that it would probably be acceptable to dress up like Apostles and to distribute Biblical information on the street, even as a spontaneous "flashing mob"! That is, indeed a good way to get the attention of cowardly sinners lurking in the dark recesses of this deprived Earth!

    Ezekiel 1:14
And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

At least we now know that we're not dealing with just a tiny group of home-bound socially deficient self-abusers (Genesis 38:9) but by a community that strives to oppose Jesus by any means possible!

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

Here are some Lord of the Rings LARPers.

I don't understand why people devote so much time and money to living as if a work of fiction and the mythical characters contained in it are true – and especially one so filled with violence. The Bible tells us even thinking about sinning is a sin (Mt 5:21-22; 27-28; Ex 20:17). When these people act out their corrupt fantasies, they are polluting their minds. They are paving the way to committing murder, robbery and adultery in real life (Prov 4:23). They should be filling their minds with the true, pure, virtuous Word of God (Phil 4:8). It is the only Book worth acting out (Mt 7:24).

Those Germans in the video above need to repent, as does anyone who has ever engaged in a role-playing game. For anyone seeking deliverance from the spiritual consequences of LARPing, I highly recommend the following resource: Prayers for Release and Cleansing From Fantasy Role Playing Games.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I'm sticking with classic roll playing games like backgammon.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

LARPing also promotes bestiality because if you do an image search, you'll see a lot of women dressed up as elves.

Obviously this creates a temptation for men to lust after something that's not even human, which is a sin in itself according to Matthew 5:28, but then if it gets into a cosplay situation where you actually pretend to really have sex with something that's not human, that's even worse.

Exodus 22:19 Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
