The Catholics have been trying to sell us on this whole "exorcism" thing for a while now and while it's rather cute, we're not so easily duped. See, when a demon possesses a person and you ask JESUS to exorcise it, you aren't killing it, because that's stealing a kill from GOD, and that's not right We as Christians are not supposed to kill demons, simply rebuke them so that when at last GOD ends this wretched world, HE will have the personal pleasure of slaughtering them. To do otherwise--or even really to pretend otherwise--is taking from GOD, and that's theft, and theft is a sin.

I really think The Binding of Issac is a great video game to teach children about religion. And I think it is a great example of a game that is CHRISTIAN.

You don't need a video game to play that! We do it as a part of our homeschool unit on Obedience every fall! Mr. Etheldreda takes one of the children off for a "hunting trip," just the two of them for some bonding time. Then one morning, as the sun comes up, he wakes the child and tells him to gather some wood. Thinking it's for the campfire, the child does so cheerfully. When they take the wood out of the camp to an altar Mr. Etheldreda has set up, the child starts to get curious. As Mr. Etheldreda ties the child up and lays him on the altar, telling of this event in Abraham's life, and reminding the child of the nobleness of Abraham's faith and obedience that he would give up his only child for a crack at the blessings of a God he could neither see nor touch but only hear (as a booming voice throughout the hillside or in his head the Bible doesn't say), the child naturally gets nervous. We've found experiencing extreme emotional swings, say from deep and crippling fear to sudden relief, produce the most intense measure of joy and gratitude. It is only then when the blade is pressed against the child's throat and he can feel the sting skin being sliced that the child comes to the realization he has no control over the situation at all, regardless of how unjust he may find it. It is in this realization, and then being told he's been freed because God loves him and chooses to ransom him, that the faith becomes personal indeed. The children know under pain of extreme discipline not to ruin this experience to their younger siblings, or they might not get the same "Come to Jesus" moment.

Who needs a plug and a controller for that?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Yes ofcourse, this is definately not some scientific explanation, its definately satan who came through his monitor and dragged him down to hell and raped him, then sent him back up, isnt it? Religion might be real, but sickness is based of science, not religion
