Although that smelled suspiciously like a copy/paste from wikipedia, I don't understand what it has to do with the meaning of the symbol now. Lots of marking have changed meanings over the years, lots of words have as well. My father (80+) uses the terms high and drunk interchangeably because in his day they meant the same thing.

Well BelieverInGod, it was a copy/paste from wikipedia with facts that I have found, and I don't recall saying that bacalava masks couldn't be used in gay pornography.

My point was that wearing a bacalava on the job is perfectly reasonable. There really isn't any reason for pixulated characters to be wearing them. If I had a fireman as a neighbour and he wore it home every day, I'd start to wonder what was up.

But a bible could just as easily been used in gay pornography as well as any other physical object, that's not the point I was making.

By reading the rest, it shows that we will be judged according to how patient we are in seeking glory. Those who do not obey the Bible. So again, we will be judged according to what is written in the Bible.

Yes it does. I'm glad you realize that. Now go get your Bible and read it from beginning to end. Ask your fuzzy bunny pastor about all of the hard scripture. If he gives you answers like "you have to read between the lines" or that doesn't count anymore, then get yourself to a fundamentalist Baptist church where they realize the Bible is meant to be read in full. Even the "icky" parts.

Well since when they say final post, they don't usually mean it. I'll respond.

I was raised in a fuzzy bunny church. My mother was actually the Sunday school teacher. Around the age of 10, I started reading the Bible completely and started asking questions, do you know what they told me? That reading the Bible completely was a SIN! I should just shut up and read the parts they gave me. Well I almost fell into a life of debauchery over that.

Fortunately I did read my entire Bible, many times and God lead me to a church where I felt welcomed. Sure you would call him an old fire & brimstone type, but he made the Bible come alive.
