AHH! Thanks for Clarifying but would it not be considered blasphemy because your acknowledging that others view you as a representation of god? in my church it would. i would like to know how a regular church service is carried out. In the past i have attended a baptist church with a Friend and it wasnt full of anything im viewing on here. Could you possibly inform me on this?

Rev. Osborne is not a "representation of god" but rather he spreads Gods word.

Some Churches have mundane, basic services, others are full of passion. A good Pastor will pick timely sermons that have meaning or impact to his Church goers. That is what this thread is.

Please read the Pastor's Rules and Announcements. Pay attention to the "noobs" thread. Then go post your introduction on the introduction forum.

Why do these idiots come on a CHRISTAN website, refuse the read the FAQs and wonder why we could care less about them. My friend who has attended the church for over 18 years can support me on the matter that the pastors there never have "bashed" a game on a level such as this THOUGH! they have talked about the inappropriateness of children playing games that are not for there age group, what this thread is saying i believe is that no "Good" christian participates in the playing of any games that consist of violence or anything listed here in this thread?

I think if you showed the game to your Pastor he would go into shock.
Very few men have given of themselves like the good Rev. Osborne has by actually immersing himself in the game and knowing inside and out so he could really relate to you kids.
Did you ever ask your Pastor if the game play was good, making sure he knew all about it, the bad as well as the good, and explain it 100% as honestly as you could?

In my defense, I really don't spend much time bashing video games. The vast majority of time I am doing evangelical outreach or discussing the Bible. What this all stemmed from was that I wrote a small article on here, intended for members of Landover Baptist only, warning them about Oblivion. However, it soon spread like flames across the internet and we've been besieged by many people ranging from respectful people to annoying trolls.

So your saying the majority of things inside this forum is intended for LBC?
Then how might one become a member of the church? Must one seek to befriend a member in order to join the church? Or does LBC get there members to slowly but surely get sucked deeper into what you believe is the pure and true word of god, i do visit a Catholic Church of Which i was born into and am a member of but i also try to see other beliefs and religions i can associate how most others think and i have been having trouble on trying to understand how your church works im open to go to different churches and to try and follow christ to the best of my abbilities how are is your church diff. from other baptist churches?
