If you don't stop playing these games, you may still be doing that when you're 35.

I just want to say that oblivion its not a bad game to play. I mean, there is maybe witchcraft, but i think that the developers wanted to take an other name instead of spell and not other names that we always see. In fact, oblivion is the 1st game where i saw witchcraft so i didnt really care and i didnt try to relate it to something else to make it seem bad. I dont want to know what is witchcraft, but in oblivion, its a game so i still dont know what it is.

Fire ball out of the hand of our character, in any RPG medieval time game, we always have he fire ball spell. Its like a rule. Just like having lightning, wind and any kind of element. An rpg medieval fantazy game never miss one basic spell elements so it dont really count. Its also a spell to beat ice elemental monsters. All elemental spells are made to beat a monster elemental.

The elf picture that you posted, i never saw that elf when i played oblivion. They dont look like that. They are suppose to have the same colour as humans and normal eyes colour, but not red. I was a redguar BTW, but everytime i saw those elf, they was always innocent. I never had to fight one in the game because i was a good character. I always did good stuff and close each oblivion gates to save the world.

Like i said, i was a redguar and those race dont need to learn witchcraft to be strong. So for the whole game, all i needed is upgrading my armors and combat skills. The only spell i had was self healing just to rest after each combat, but the redguar are really weak on magic just like they are not suppose to know how to do a single magic.

I was 15 years old when i played that game and all i did was good stuff with my barbarian.

For the god part, its a game. When we play a game, we are not in the real life anymore. So adding other gods is not a problem as long that you dont take the game too seriously and pray for these gods while you get heal. Its not like i did look at these gods to represent my real god so i didnt break any bible rules. I dont even know who is the that night mother, but i heard about her in game, but never saw her. This might be because i was good.

Would it not have been better and easier to write a post that is actually readable?.

This post caught my eye, recently my younger brother and his friends started to play this game, among other demonic games, no matter how much i tried to help them by explaining the dangers of these games they wouldnt listen to me. I found some companies who make christian-only games and decided to share them with them. they seemed to find them amusing, hopefully they will stop playing the devil ones.

I wish to never be even remotely associated in any way with your violent deity.

These are the kind of scriptures you should avoid mentioning instead of bragging about - and then you have the nerve to judge violence in other contexts, such as this innocent entertainment medium. As for video games having an effect on impressionable young minds, what about a verse such as this force fed to young children? What is even far worse is that you indoctrinate children that something like this is ok because it is in The Bible. What moral values does this passage teach, if not violence and vengeance? This mentality is completely unacceptable in the 21st century, especially when it comes from a first world country (I'm assuming you are American).

Is it a coincidence people on this board seem to have a fondness for firearms? Sorry for that generalizing comment, but I saw a user's banner on this forum - something about guns, christ and the 2nd amendment! If the moderators of this forum are comfortable with that kind of content, it can only be interpreted as a message they endorse.

And what about this smiley you have here:

I'd better stop here now because my post is becoming incoherent due to the shocking content I have found here... and believe me, I lurk...

those 30-somethings living with their parents... they're pathetic. oh wait - jesus fits that description perfectly.

I'll pray for you in the Skingrad church. May Akatosh have mercy on your souls (and put them in a soul gem so i can recharge my Blade of the Faithless).

I agree with Pastor Zeke about you looking for "wiggle room". You're trying to make a violent video game dressed up to look like its for True Christians(tm). The player may think he is committing no sin when in reality he is. The worse part is that Christian mod or whatever would be a gateway to more violent, Satanic-inspired games. Just like how marijuana easily turns teenagers into heroin addicts, a Christian Fallout could bring even more kids into perverse "games" like Oblivion or Grand Theft Auto or Final Fantasy.

Ironically a Christian Fallout would be even worse than regular Fallout! The reason being is many more Christian kids would be allowed to play it by their parents, and that would turn them into video game addicts. Many Christian homes refuse to have Fallout in it because its such a vile product. But sneak in Christian Fallout and you have a problem!
