I was not being confrontational at all. Let me counter your arguements, and please do not insult me for liking to play video games.

Well, several families across the world are not of christian descent, and should a video game ramble on about the Christian god being the "correct" one, that would offend them and give them the right to sue the company.

The only video games I'd ever allow in my home would be those V-Tech ones. But even then, I do not want them in the house. I have this computer and we have the family TV console for watching PTL. All of the other video games are simply a way for Satan to seduce small childern.

What the HECK are you talking about does not even begin to cover how confused I am by this statement. Who is going to "sue"? God LOVES it when people honor Him by making Christian video games! As long as they are based on the KJV 1611 Bible and teach His True Word, we encourage our future True Christian youth to play the video games. God never defends His copyrights, His Word is truly open source. As long as it is not changed in the slightest from His original wording and intention, God has no problem with people spreading His message in any format!

Also, just like many people have been told "Nobody FORCED you to come here", I say, nobody FORCED you to play Oblivion. Honestly, you shouldn't have to petition to ban things you don't like. If you don't like them, then leave them well alone.

Okay, first of all, D&D isn't satanic in any way, as for the roleplaying aspect, just like other games. It's a way to escape the troubles of life for a brief moment, to relieve stress.

Actually Dungeons and Dragons is very Satanic and for much of the same reasons that I have pointed out exist in Oblivion. I am not the only Christian to have noticed this. Please read this excellently researched Chick Tract for more info on why D&D is Satanic.

Dungeons and Dragons is used as a recruitment tool for witchcraft and Satanism and I fear that Oblivion may be misused in the same way.

In the lore of The Elder Scrolls, The elves are a race known for peace and harmony within nature and using combat when provoked. So therefor they are NOT demons by any means.

I have read into this so-called lore. The Altmer aka High Elves are known as "masters of the arcane arts". The Bosmer aka Wood Elves speak to animals, much in the same way Wiccan high priestesses "communicate with nature". Lastly the Dunmer aka Dark Elves are vulgar and have had a curse put upon them darkening their skin.

A knowledgeable Christian can recognize these Dark Elves as being representatives of both Cain and Ham who had curses put upon them for their sins.

Again, back to the role playing aspect of the game, if you wanted to be a powerful wizard seen in alot more popular forms of entertainment such as The Lord Of The Rings. Even in Star Wars they had their own form of magic that could of been used by the good guys (jedis).

The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars are both Satanic films. It doesn't help that magic is used in these witchcraft movies.

Yes that is true, but if you didn't start this thread without researching you would of known that the goal of the game is to close all of the portals to Oblivion and stop the "Demons" from coming onto the normal plane and destroying everything.

There is no goal of the game. It is a moral anarchy on behalf of the player. If a player would like to keep these Oblivion "Hell" gates open the whole time, he is free to do so.

The thieving in the game is completely optional, the only questlines that reward you for this behavior are ones from the Thieves Guild. And if someone's "sinful" enough to join it, chances are is that he was already disturbed in the beginning.

Again, my point is not that it is an option, but that it is in there to begin with! Look at this for example: Suppose Oblivion had a secret dungeon whose reward was some child porn movies the player could watch. Wouldn't you be upset that this is in the game? Even though it's completely "optional"?

Again, it's completely optional, so chances are if the player was to do these things, he would of already been "disturbed". Or maybe, JUST MAYBE...He would of been smart enough to realize that it's a VIDEO GAME. A WAY OF ESCAPE!

There is alcohol in the game, though you can't actually have the effects of being drunk, it raises your endurence (carrying capacity) and lowers just about everything else. For a brief amount of time.

So what this does is it gives a misguided message to our children telling them if they drink beer or vodka in real life, they won't feel anything. There should be strong repercussions for having drunk alcohol, let alone the fact that alcohol should not even be in this game for children.

What's wrong with astrology? Again, it's just another form of the game's lore that makes it such an amazing world unlike any that we've seen in video games.

Astrology is prohibited by the Bible, under the heading of divination and observer of the times.
