Because, I don't believe every last thing the bible says... Yes I am a catholic, but, I don't believe that women deserve to be beat, that playing video games is a sin, that dungeons and dragons is a sin, etc.

I do believe in God and Jesus (not so sure about Jesus, but for the most part I do believe in him)...

Violent video games dont affect school shootings, Sir. Also the game has things called "mods" short for "modifications" that can change the game. The "unmodded game" may not be bible-based, but if you were to "mod" it enough it could have all the churches be based on Jesus and God. And make it so magic isn't out there. And also make it so elves are actually creatures you get to hunt and kill in the Lord's name. You would probably have to make these "mods", but in return you would have a game where you can worship jesus, hunt "demons", and have fun serving the lord.

Would this make the game "ok" in the eyes of the lord?

Now, This is a 2 year old thread I know that but please bear with me. I just wanted to say a couple of things to the maker of this thread.

Um. It's August 2 right now. I wrote this on June 18. That's about a month and-a-half roughly. Not 2 years. Are you posting on the wrong thread?

No, I never named myself that. I was bestowed this title by my loving brothers and sisters here at Landover. I think it's fair to consider me God's Own Mouthpiece since everything I do is Biblically correct and good in God's eyes, so I like to think of myself as a representative of God on this Earth.

Very good. God does approve of magic in certain circumstances, the story of Moses for one. It's not hypocritical because God realizes magic is very powerful and destructive and should only be used if He specifically allows it. Witchcraft and Oblivion seek to circumvent God's Laws by doing magic and witchcraft on their own terms.

Lastly,I work in a christian enviroment and even though they are devot and go to a reputable church every sunday, when they recict the prayers they comment on them such as saying *oh this will be a hard one to do*.

P.S Ive read about 3 pages of Genesis......bored me to tears.Well then im off to hell *snicker* go have fun being hypocrits
