The games are mostly marketed to impulsive OCD people. They want that unreal incredible out of this world experience. The game makers oblige with intense packaging.

Im not quite sure I understand this statement...OCD=Obsessive Compuslive Disorder I assume. Please explain that one to me, because Im not getting it.
However most gamers, especially currently, are not buying Fallout 3 for the 'out of this world' experience. I bought it because I am a fan of the IP (Intellectual Property). Also, when I refer to gamers, I am NOT referring to the teeny-bopper crowd that people generically put a face to when it comes to the gaming collective. The gamers I play with, talk to, etc. are all older. Most holding down good jobs and taking care of there families. And oddly enough, WE make up the gaming majority. We were gamers when the original NES crept into our hearts and moved on through the years, Gaming. Yes, the kiddies these days are far more outspoken than there older counterparts, but they are not the majority.
What Im trying to say is, some views on what these companies do as far as marketing and such is NOT targeted to younger audiences, but one cannot stop them from seeking out information (The double edged sword of the Internet).

Gamers, by and large, are OCD. They spend large amounts of time and money on living in a fantasy world. I know, if I allowed myself a game, I'd play it all the time. I know me, I know I am like most people. So I just do not buy any games.
If you are really in to the IP, then learn programming and creat the IP. I've done a fair amount of it but I am not that artistic and my intereset waned.

We are simply against these games for the immoral aspect of the games and to some respect, the amount of time they consume and lack of reality they immerse the player in.

I really feel these games are absolutely horrible for kids under the age of 17. Ad for any kid over the age of 17, who wants to play a game? Go out with friends see the world.

By your impeccable logic, murder is ok as long as you have fun and do not get caught. You'd have no problem with a bunch of people coming over to your home, breaking in and robbing you, as long it was all fun. You would love it if people would walk up to your mom and call her a F'ing whore, because they are just words. You have no problem if someone hacked and knew all your bank account data, as long as nothing was stolen, yet. Grow up, find God.

Murder is ok, it's in our gene's you can't do anything about that, the cavemen did nothing but kill each other, it's probably our most primitive action considering we kill for food every day.

I love how these gametards defend this violent video game and say "Oh it doesn't make people bad." yet on this thread we've had several people openly confess they want to commit murders. fallout 3 is a brilliant game. it shows how much better the communist east is than the capitalist west and how american would have got ruined should a nuclear war have occurred (or that may in the future)
