Thank you, IAmJustAMan, you pointed out a few flaws from OP that I was gonna address, but heres a couple more things to add

1. The band was formed in 1987, far from "new"
2. Green Day now had 4 members, as well as multiple other members just for touring or studio sessions.

This has gone FAR enough!!! Green Day is my favorite band...EVER! I love their music, they get me through hard times when God wasn't there for me. If anything, God was the one that introduced me to Green Day and other music in that genre! I understand the lyrics and titles of the songs might have you think that they are bad, but that is their new stuff, if you listen to their old songs from their earlier albums, they have a greater sounds. The best albums they have produced was before "American Idiot" (my favorites being 39/Smooth and Dookie). Saying Green Day is Satanic is like saying the Pope is the anti-christ...

Also, Green Day is not metal AT ALL! Its a mix between the Rock genre and the Pop Punk genre of music, making it NOTHING like the metal music of today.

No, i didn't mean it like that. I was looking for some guidance, some kind of help through help through my semi-abusive parents and bullying at school. I was praying every night ever since the beginning of high school to make it stop, but sadly, it didn't. In fact, it got WORSE! Then, I went on the radio "Pandora" and heard the song Waiting by Green Day and I fell in love with the song! It's still my favorite, actually. However, after I started really listening to them, I wasn't scared to state my mind, and now I'm way better then I was before, twice as active than before in my community and my church. So, I highly doubt you understand my situation I was in.
