I believe the bible is a book of stories which can instil either great morals and beliefs in people, or in your case, misguide them and turn them to hate their fellow man.

Being "homeschooled" has nothing to do with " seeing Jesus as the only path to salvation." I have not read the entire thread, as i simply stumbled across this. I simply can't not reply though.
In the first post, there's an image portraying minecraft as a "horror". The screenshot is of a pig and small farmland - as far as i know this is a hint to the life of a farmer, and it's not evil at all.

The game does not promote genetic manipulation, it is using simplified graphics. The technology used to create the game is rather slow, if it had to create life-like images you'd never get to see anything as the computer would spend decades calculating how to do a single image.

Sex slaves: i have not seen a single instance where anyone hinted at sex in minecraft, let alone with minors. Griefing is a term used for destroying other's creations, usually for fun. Some people do it, most everyone hates it when it's done. Furthermore, minecraft is not a game full of children. Personally i'm 18, but i've met people who are 40 and older who play. It's not a child's game, it's a creativity game. The creative mode is a bit like painting, but in 3D and with cubes.

By the way, sir, how do you see a walking penis in the image of that? It has 4 small cubes used as feet, a central part as body and a cube for a head. It was originally meant to be a pig (note it uses the same amount of parts in a slightly different way).

The drawn pornography, really anything that gets popular on the internet will have porn of it sooner or later... Basically, i would be glad that this is only nudity, as it could be much, much worse :S

The puppet you show is simply standing there - it is not possible to make such movements in minecraft. If i show a picture of a random man standing there, you would not name it masturbation, would you?

About the economy: since when is Jesus American? Nothing in the bible mentions anything like the consumer mind there is today. This game teaches kids that the things they use are created somewhere by someone. It also teaches to keep thing you might find useful, instead of throwing them away. Minecraft makes it easy to use these things you've gathered and are 'useless' to you to help other people build their creations, and it works throughout the world. I'm european, i can easily work together with someone in Japan, America, and South Africa.

By the way, the two biggest disasters in the past century have both originated in America. If you are worried about your economy, then i suggest talking to your politicians. It seems their way of getting rid of debt is by getting a bigger debt. It won't end well, you can tell.

As for the last two pictures: the first is simply an emoticon. If i post this one: , am i suddenly Satan himself? Are you all evil because it is shown when writing a post? The last picture is a slightly retextured one: it seems someone decided minecraft needed to be somewhat horror-like. This isn't the normal look of minecraft, it's entirely upon the player if he chooses to create something like this. If you like, you can create a new texture pack to replace skeletons with angels, zombies with people and pigs with sheep.

At the image by snailsnot: since when is it right to attack others? Why do you have a google search open with those words?
