I caught one my sons playing mindgames or minecraft what ever you call it one day and I flogged him within an inch of his life. I have taught my sons that they should put their time and effort into pursuits that glorify God not satan.

So rather then idleness and sloth one should take heed of Gods word on this matter:

Psalms 71:17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

Titus 3:14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

If you believe that someone who plays video games is going to hell, then I would like to point out, that you yourself are going to hell.

Friend my sons would be more useful if they were building a place of worship for the Glory of God not playing a silly game where they pretend to build things. That type of thinking is silly and has no place in the home of a Christian man. God commands us to not spare our children when they do wrong, it is written in scripture, and the younger they are the more hope there is for the child:

Proverbs 19:18 Chasten thy sonne while there is hope; and let not thy soule spare for his crying.

It is this type of liberal parenting that has made such a mess in this world today and I will not be tempted to take the easy way out, nor would my sons approve of a weak father.
