Children usually stop growing at the age of 21. If a child held a hammer until then, then a tool would help them grow. By proxy.

Just by having those things does not make you grow. To grow you need to food, which gives energy to do things and develop.

Just by wearing pants does not feed you to grow. That is ridiculous.

PS: I have never seen a new born baby being able to lift a hammer.

Also regarding your earlier quotation of Matthew 7:1-3, you are taking it out of context. Why did you leave out verses 4 and 5 where Jesus says it is okay to judge others? Read more about it here.
