I have never claimed to be a very religious but growing up in the bible belt of eastern Kentucky and in a very church oriented family I would say that I am familiar with the lifestyle.

I have spent the majority of my adult life serving the people of this great nation and of my communities. I have 12 years in the military in civil affairs, (helping those in need in foreign countries) I have served as an EMT on the ambulance service, currently work as a volunteer with two local fire departments and working on my certification to become a police officer in my home town. A town where it is illegal to even purchase alcohol, almost everything is closed on Sunday's, and you cant drive two blocks without passing four churches. I have been happily married for three years and have a child on the way.

I only start off by saying all this so that you know where I come from. Just your typical family man that grew up in 80's and 90's and in the dawn of the computer age. While I played sports all throughout school I also enjoyed my video games. I can say that some of the games I have played throughout the years have been dis-tasteful at best. After 12 years in the military I do enjoy my first person shooters such as call of duty and battlefield. Games that are filled with blood, language, and violence. It is mostly due to my missing the military atmosphere and being able to hang out with people of the same background even though I am far in the sticks and away from them.

With all the other games out there, and especially all of the stuff that you can find on TV or even at your local PUBLIC high school, you choose to attack Minecraft???????

After reading this post I had to register on this website just so I can log on here and say . . . . . . Seriously . . .I mean WOW! Really????

Im not saying that it is the cleanest game out there, but the worst threat on this game is that someone might type a curse word in the chat. The game itself is about as innocent as it gets. (With exception to the nether which I will discuss later).

The single player game itself is clean, it has a simple objective and that is to build whatever your heart desires. You can dig up dirt, pick out stone and other ores, then use them to build houses or castles or whatever you want. Your only limited to your resources and imagination. I would say that if you find a child somewhere randomly building large penises or upside down crosses maybe you need to wonder what kind of home he comes from. It would be like saying that god did something wrong because a child went outside and tied two sticks together to make an upside down cross. He learned it from somewhere . . . .?

The only exception to this is when you factor in the multiplayer aspect. Here a child could see or pick up on whatever other people in the same server are doing. For those that are not familiar with how these types of games work a server is essentially where a person or group pays a company to set up their own private version of the game where they control how the game is ran people can join and play. The rules and game styles of each of these servers vary and could go from extremely religious, very strict, to very open and uncaring on what happens, to even anti religious or where they might promote killing and cussing. (You know this could be like comparing churches and religions.)

As far as the in-game accusations you have placed on this forum. 1) what in the world is wrong in that first picture . . . it is a grassy field next to a river with a pig in it. The only thing I can think is from the old testament where swine is stated to be the unclean meat. Okay you got me on that one, in the game you do eat the unclean meat, all of about three types of religions still abide by that rule, jew, islam, and seventh-day adventist. (correct me if im wrong I very well could be) (PS I grew up Seventh-Day adventist)

Second picture: yes there have been many jokes calling them walking penises, they are just that jokes, its only because they do kinda resemble them, that was not the intention and it would take an IMAGINATION to come to that conclusion. How that would be related to porn on the other hand, wow.

Third Picture: The porn penis that was supposedly drawn by a child after playing that game . . .I want to meet his parents . . . he didnt come up with that all on his own after playing the game. I would like to see the factual evidence that it was truly a kid that drew that. Now Im starting to think that you made this post just to troll and cause a fuss.

Fourth Picture: Where the heck did you get that he was masturbating. Its not possible in the game as the only motions your character can do is walk and (kinda) bend over. He is standing still over a city that someone created looking at it. He has a pick-axe in his hands. The fact that you thought he was masturbating disturbs me. From this point on I don't want you around my kids, your kinda disturbed.

Fifth and Sixth Picture: Not really sure what you are seeing here either. I guess you think the builder was making a face of satan or something. I dont know it is possible, again this is what ONE user did, and Im sure that if I drove down to the big city I might see something much worse than that spray painted on the side of a wall. Guess this is why parents should be paying attention to what their kids are doing. As far as the seventh picture I bet you hate Halloween with all those evil jack-o-lanterns around.

Eighth Picture: WOW THIS PERSON NEEDS HELP. NOT ONLY DID THEY BUILD A CROSS AND DEMAND PEOPLE BOW DOWN. LOOK AT THE TABS IN THE PICTURE "GAY FAT AMPUTEE GANGBANG AND THE LANDOVER BAPTIST CHURCH". Nothing against the church, I have nothing against any church. Just stating that those are open on his browser at the same time. This guy needs serious psychological help.

Why would we bother to study the Bible if we didn't take it with the utmost of seriousness?

You need look no further than Brother V's Bible in a year Pastor Peter's Things that the Bible doesn't say, I highly recommend Dr. D's the 10 commandments and their punishments. Dr. True Disciple's dissertation on population displacement is highly enlightening. My own series of the Greatest Smitings of the Bible is great stuff too if I say so myself.
