That's just it, you aren't. You tell people that you're right and they're wrong without so much as trying to convert them. If anything, you people have almost driven me away from Christianity.

You are driven away because we are not saying what you want to hear. We are sharing the Truth© instead.

God came to Earth as Jesus that He might sacrifice Himself to Himself, so that our sins might be forgiven without the unwieldy animal sacrifice system.

One sacrifice. Agreed? Good.


Jesus indeed forgives us our sins, but then He gives us a command. It's the same command He gave to the adulterous woman who was to be stoned. When her accusers had all left, what did Jesus say? Was it:

1. Go, and keep your legs together. Stop being an adulterous whore.
2. Go, and only commit little sins, not the big ones.
3. Go, and SIN NO MORE.

That's right, #3. SIN NO MORE. Not a little, not only small sins. No more sinning, ever.

And that is what He expects of us. In fact, the Bible tells us that you can tell a True Christian™ from a false by whether or not he sins at all, ever:

1 John 3:4-6

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

It's all quite clear-cut, friend. Have you not read the Bible?

Where does it say anywhere in the verses you quoted that it is not True Christians(tm) who decide? Nowhere, that's where.

Having said that, I will say that you are correct, sort of. Let us compare the situation to a traveler reading a map. It is not the traveler who determines what road goes to their destination. Rather it is the map. The traveler is merely reading the map for instructions.

In a similar manner, it is not the True Christian(tm) that decides whether one goes to heaven or to hell; saved or not saved. It is God. And God has left a map called the 1611 King James Bible. The True Christian(tm) reads the Bible (the map) and can see the destination by the direction and twists and turns the Unsaved Trash take.

So you see, we are only reading the map to you much like your wife might if you actually could get one.

God was pretty generous in giving us a chance through Jesus Christ, but unfortunately the vast majority of people have squandered the opportunity.

As i spend more time here, it becomes ever more clear that you all follow the old testament God. One of anger and wrath. You call yourselves Christians but don't seem to follow the teaching of Christ himself or the God that sent him, one of compassion.

The old testament God? You think God changed since the time of the old testament? Think again:

Malachi 3:6
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Jesus made it clear that the laws of the old testament are still valid. He teaches that we shall follow the law:

Matthew 5:17-19
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You can't just follow the teachings of Jesus that happen to agree with your own personal opinion and ignore the rest.

Well thank you I do expect to go to heaven because my opinion has nothing to do with that anyway i love Jesus and i try to follow in his word I'm loved by many people and I'm a nice and sweet guy to all of my friends who i look at as family I'm not a bad person nor are you you seem to have your head screwed on pretty straight and tight! I still disagree with and and i don't like what i have read today and yeah i sometimes can but if you must know i don't really even play the game hahaha i keep it under tabs because i like to be outside doing stuff with girls and friends cuz thats what anyone should really be doing anyway video games are a time killer for me and most of the time i play guitar instead haha and i guess you have a point on that, I do care.... but not about your opinion of me thats all
