I have an amazing tutor who believes in the bible and in god, if there is one thing we have discovered from the meaning of the words, Is that it's all about love, forgivingness, and the ability to accept each other despite their status and thoughts.

If you want to know what Jesus actually says, you'll want to read His Word, the Holy Bible. You'll want to do so without any preconceived notions, otherwise you'll be reading your insight into His speech. The Bible is not meant to be a Rorschach Test, an object with which we can see our own thoughts and beliefs mirrored back to us. It is the Living Word of God, it says what it means, and means what it says. And it says very specifically that the one to be forgiven is the True Christian's™ brother. [Bible Answers: Who are our neighbors? Who are our brothers and sisters? Who are we to love?]

If you were familiar with what Jesus said, you'd know He doesn't promise love and peace, but violence and aggression and hostility (Matthew 10:34). These aren't my words dear, but His. If you think He didn't really mean it, then how do you determine when He really means what He says? Is there an objective source from which you draw this knowledge, or again, does it simply coincidentally conform with your own personal sense of moral comfort? How interesting that you, of all the people in all the world over all these generations, are the only one who gets it right, whereas everyone else is wrong. How very special you must feel to believe God has given you special insight that He has denied everyone else, leading them instead on a fool's errand to read, believe, and trust His Holy Word in the Bible.

Sorry but I only speak American English and being from a Heathen Country like OzTrailer I have had problems with even that, since having to repeatedly explain things to my Abo's seems to set me back a day or two. Truth™ is as Truth™ does and one does what the Bible tells one too. I for one had a hard time coming to terms with my shortcomings until I found Jesus whilst in prison. hi all

first i must say thank you all for this board so i can keep my son away from nasty stuff the devil puts on this earth

as grateful as i am i am here to tell you all to ban team fortress 2 (abbreviated as TF2) for the following reasons

i discovered about it this weekend when my 15 year old son charlie brought home his friend and they were playing on his friend's laptop a game where it's nothing but killing, bad words, god bashing, anti-american propaganda, and worst of all HOMOSEXUALITY

first off this is their artwork they use to advertise to the MASSES



as you can see, they all are posed to look threatening (i guess that's what boys like these days)

there is also blantent homosexuality (when the doctor heals his patients they all say things like "i love this doctor" or "get behind me doctor!")

they made a character that looks like a soldier and he talks about god's world being his ("this is my world, you are not welcome in my world!") when i heard this i was MORBIDLY SHOCKED and appalled and ashamed of my son and he knew it

i was wondering why my son was getting into fights and after i saw this i banned him from ever seeing his friends

if you see your child playing this, tell them to uninstall it and watch him do it!!!

hope this helps parents out so your child doesn't stray far from god!

And yes, I know that I should, But i'm doing it more casual. If it is one of the things i learned from the internet; approach everything with a casual perspective, intention, and language.
