Debunk and destroy.

Let me debunk some of the things I saw in this thread.

1. The soldier believes in God. He has many quotes referring to Him, including: "God bless America!"


2. No character appears as homosexual. In fact, there are more heterosexual references. Although there is a theory on the Pyro that he is a gay male, based on the length of his fingers or something.


3. The "Get behind me doctor!" and "I love this doctor!" are from the character Heavy, the most strong character in the game. The first quote is said when the medic Ubercharges the Heavy. (Ubercharge makes you invulnerable for a short amount of time) In that case, the Medic should get behind the Heavy, as the Medic is incapable of dealing damage while he is healing/ubering someone. The second quote appears when Heavy is getting healed by the Medic. He likes that he is no longer hurt by the rockets/bullets/knifes/grenades/arrows/whatever he has been hit by. AKA the Heavy likes when he is healed.


5. This game is not made by satanists.


BONUS: There has been a study with 11 thousand children. The study was about children getting affected by violent video games. The conclusion was that playing violent video games had NO EFFECT on the childrens' behavior.


CONCLUSION: This game is not anti-Christian, gay or anti-American propaganda. You people are just ignorant. As the Soldier once said:

One would not think that a Christian gentleman would know of such things. And an intelligent person could manage a much better come back.

This site is about illuminating to the world the Truth(tm) about the Bible. People who call themselves Christians should care at least as much about that as they do about their video game past times.


If you are Christian and intelligent as you claim, don't you think that God would want you to use your gifts to defend your faith with as much verve (and one hopes, less vitriol) as you and your gamer companions have devoted to defending a leisure activity?


Please consider reading the Bible with the close attention that you apply to the imaginary landscapes of your virtual battlefields. You might learn something about God and yourself.

ok i have a bit of a bone to pick with this. i can understand that the moderators would want to get rid of this and censor it. but its "rude" on their part for making it blatently obvious. a better approach would be to either replace the text with (Removed by Moderator) and then just put Banned From Landover in his tag thing. Again i understand the motavation, but the execution is terrible and rude.

i really hate to break it to you but that is wrong on every level i don't even know where to BEGIN. as a player of Team Fortress 2, someone who knows the game through and through, i can completely say that that is so false that its barely worth mentioning. there is a theory that the Pyro (one in the gas mask on the left) MIGHT be gay. but thats just a theory and hasnt been proven. heck everything about the pyro even down to his/her Gender is a mystery. but i can assure you. that every single character you see there is straight (minus the Pyro) if you wanna see the theory i spoke of simply google search Game Theory Team Fortress 2. yes you will find a YouTube link. but thats where the channel that posted the theory resides. and i beg of you to watch the video with an open mind and listen to what he is saying rather than what his words MIGHT mean if you look at it from a diffrent perspective.

And another thing that I find really disturbing. You are using the pink ribbon to mark user as "cancer on society." I don't mind having that badge, I actually really like it. The problem, which you seem to be unaware of, is that the pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awarness. And using it like you do (to call a person cancer) is not just plain wrong but one might say even ungodly.

PS: I find the lack of phpbb tags in the reply form disturbing. At least add QUOTE tag there so you don't have to type it manually all the time.
