I'd like to believe this thread (and hopefully this forum) is just a joke gone too far, that everyone posting is just being a satirical embodiment of the side of conservative Christianity. You all know,the side that believes being a
means hating others for every single lifestyle choice that doesn't align with what some baptist pastor tells a herd of bigots.
TF2 is not evil. It is a silly game that simply serves as a lighthearted time waster. There is no implied homosexuality, no agenda to push, and no harm meant through the games design. The only offense is the ones made up in your mind.
That being said, I think your criticism has almost uncanny similarity with another group, that being the radical left. Where you complain about nonexistent homosexuality, they would complain about how all the characters are white. Where you would complain about the overabundance of blood and gore being too overwhelming for your children, they would complain about the hyper-masculinity of such a violent first person shooter. You both seem to stand for some ideal that you believe is the ultimate way to live, you both seem to hate those who oppose you, and, to the average person with basic critical thinking skills, you both seem to be completely bonkers. Just look at the emojis this site has, with Klan members chasing blacks, terrorists blowing themselves up, and images of Trump right next to stereotypical depictions of black people.
I'd like to believe that being a good christian means that you respect other peoples rights, (at least) act like a nice person and participate with your church. Surely you people are okay accepting peoples rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, am I right?
