hi all

first i must say thank you all for this board so i can keep my son away from nasty stuff the devil puts on this earth

as grateful as i am i am here to tell you all to ban team fortress 2 (abbreviated as TF2) for the following reasons

i discovered about it this weekend when my 15 year old son charlie brought home his friend and they were playing on his friend's laptop a game where it's nothing but killing, bad words, god bashing, anti-american propaganda, and worst of all HOMOSEXUALITY

first off this is their artwork they use to advertise to the MASSES



as you can see, they all are posed to look threatening (i guess that's what boys like these days)

there is also blantent homosexuality (when the doctor heals his patients they all say things like "i love this doctor" or "get behind me doctor!")

they made a character that looks like a soldier and he talks about god's world being his ("this is my world, you are not welcome in my world!") when i heard this i was MORBIDLY SHOCKED and appalled and ashamed of my son and he knew it

i was wondering why my son was getting into fights and after i saw this i banned him from ever seeing his friends

if you see your child playing this, tell them to uninstall it and watch him do it!!!

hope this helps parents out so your child doesn't stray far from god!

Its an comic based shooter with nothing more in mind.
It is not based on homosexuality in any way as is see some lines written down that were spoken from an ingame character.
It just defines strategies from ingame. For ex. A heavy/soldier guarding an medic while the medic heals them up.
But ofc everyone gotta make there opinion while they have never even played it.
The evidence given was raw. Not combined with any other footage.

I am sorry for my intrusion but ma'am i can say with certainty that this is not the devils work it is the work of man. I have played the game for almost a year now and what it includes is not killing and it is a virtual system and also it is not a homosexualy induced game as well as god bashing. the story line is this, they are a team of low iq mercinarys just trying to make way into sociaty by waring over turf between two people redman and bluetorc. it does not provoke violence in any way shape or form. also if you want to try to ban anything for this ban grand theft auto V for it is worse than any game currently created for its vulgarity, ruthless killing, drug refferences, god bashing, and worst of all human indecency. that is all i have time for thank you for your time

How do you think Satan works, precisely? Do you think he hops around the earth with his horns and hooved feet and lurks in dark alleys in the seedy parts of the city convincing people to play games on their Xboxes? That would be ridiculous. Do you think life is a circus? It's not, dear. It's a very serious thing. You have at best 90-100 years to figure out how Jesus is communicating to you by interpreting every day events, thoughts, and seemingly random coincidences. Then you've got to figure out if you're following Him in a way that honors and not offends Him. As He isn't likely to stick His Holy Head through the clouds and talk to you face to face, you've got to be very diligent and not do anything that might spark His ire and inspire Him to send you on the Hell Train straight to Sheol. Meanwhile, Satan is tricking you by sending similar clues for you to figure out, in hopes that you'll make the wrong choice and do something disastrous like play games that make you and your friends gay! If it was as easy as identifying a demon dressed in a trench coat pretending to be a human, that would be one thing. As it stands, I don't think you really know what you're talking about.

Really? I can't believe such stupid people like you exist on earth. Look, ill tell you what:
The title says do not let your KIDS to play, but your son is 15, that means he is a TEEN, not a KID, so he can play this game.

2nd at all, this game IS IN FACT intended to be about that things. Ill tell you why:

Killing: THAT'S the point of the game, cause people think Killing is FUN, as it is not in real life.

Bad Words: EVERY single game about killing people should have some words like Shit, Bitch, Motherfucker, etc, to be perfect. Look at Grand Theft Auto V for example.

God Bashing: Well, with crazy characters like the ones in the game, it is very common and VERY FUNNY to listem to them saying those things.

Anti-American Propaganda: Team Fortress 2 NEVER included Anti-American Propaganda

Homosexuality: THEY'RE NOT GAY, they just saying good things about the Medic.
(I love this doctor!) It means that they say that he is the best doctor.
(Get behind me, doctor!) NO, IT IS NOT SEX. It just means that he must go behind the character so he can heal him with his medic gun.

And Finally: BANNING YOUR SON FROM EVER VISIT HIS FRIENDS?!
I mean, HE IS 15, he knew the game was about those thing! If kids play this game, they will know that this game is about killing and those things, but THEY'R MOMS WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Anyway, he can just run over the window and visit them, what is good for HIM. He wouldn't go to your funeral for that thing.
That thing just made me think "This fucking mother made me think she is the devil in fresh meat and bones". And, in fact, you are!

So basically, you are just RUINING your son's life with those things, banning him, etc. I just need to tell you: Un-Ban him, if you want a good life for him. If you don't, in a future he will be scared of the outside and people who are arround him, and he will hide in the darkness with his potato chips and computer, playing online games just like TF2.
