I am a christian and respect the fact that you all don't want people to play TF2. But if you truly love your neighbour, as it is asked of us, why not let them love you back, even if it means dealing with "Gamerturds."

Why would we expect the unsaved to love us? Jesus made it crystal clear that they would despise us not despite but because of our efforts to Save them.

Out principal goal is to help them see the error of their ways and get into Heaven! As you can now see, we not only put up with sinners but show them the greatest Love that is humanely possible. We only hate our siblings and close family members based on the commandments of Jesus Himself (Luke 14:26) while honoring them (Mark 7:10) at the same time. I also hate my secular Life as Jesus taught me to (John 12:25).

Did I specifically write that I don't like gamers? What I don't like is people who go out of their way to post on our forum while forgetting the basic social norms of courtesy.


Furthermore, it is not simply my opinion that the visitors who frequent this and other threads dealing with the subject of video games leave behind content that is repetitive, insulting and profane.


If you were to read over the many, many responses posted by members of the gaming community (a suggestion that I did state in writing) you will find that people include the same information over and over again, (a demonstrable fact) and there are a large number of posts that the moderators need to sanitize for content.


You are correct in stating that the gamers are "taking their own path". We are all taking our own paths. Never, in my travels through life, have I wandered onto anyone else's property and started hurling emotionally charged content at them because I didn't like what I encountered when I wandered onto their property.

Quite possibly it is the other way around. Personally I know the love of Pasta. I have been touched by His Noodly Appendage. Perhaps this classified chicken has an intimate relationship with pizza. I am not a Christian™ and therefore not to judge and I certainly don´t want to know how tight he rolls his pizza or if he takes it Calzone before becoming intimate with it or be able to take it in as is. I believe people should have some room to live their lives as long as they don´t bother the people around them. I do agree this sort of discussion is not fitting for a Christian forum™.

first i must say thank you all for this board so i can keep my son away from nasty stuff the devil puts on this earth

as grateful as i am i am here to tell you all to ban team fortress 2 (abbreviated as TF2) for the following reasons

i discovered about it this weekend when my 15 year old son charlie brought home his friend and they were playing on his friend's laptop a game where it's nothing but killing, bad words, god bashing, anti-american propaganda, and worst of all HOMOSEXUALITY

first off this is their artwork they use to advertise to the MASSES



as you can see, they all are posed to look threatening (i guess that's what boys like these days)

there is also blantent homosexuality (when the doctor heals his patients they all say things like "i love this doctor" or "get behind me doctor!")

they made a character that looks like a soldier and he talks about god's world being his ("this is my world, you are not welcome in my world!") when i heard this i was MORBIDLY SHOCKED and appalled and ashamed of my son and he knew it

i was wondering why my son was getting into fights and after i saw this i banned him from ever seeing his friends

if you see your child playing this, tell them to uninstall it and watch him do it!!!

hope this helps parents out so your child doesn't stray far from god!
