Let's think about what the verb, to retard, means. We'll be considering two empires in two worlds: Arabic and Roman. Each built upon what went before, then something happened. The so-called Roman Empire admired the artistic achievements of a parallel (and slightly older) society, implementing some of its precepts in her culture du jour. Greek plays were popular and Greek ideas for instruments or machines got a decent airing in Rome. Both were pagan.

Happily a rejection of idols and grovelling in the dirt came about (not in Arabia obviously where elevation of the buttocks is admired) and True Christianity won through. Eventually. Satan burned alive as many as he could, or drowned, or impaled, or sliced or flayed alive for his amusement. Rome was a big part of this back then as Arabia is today. Jesus noticed though, and Jesus acted. He does not want us living in the stone age. And for those to whom retarding forces have not been applied, troglodyte axioms no longer hold sway.

For others, however, the screws are tightening ever tighter, even now.

You seem to be using a secular-biased terminology in your post and I can reciprocate within the narrow focus of a response.

Perhaps you've heard about the small bubble we can observe, known as The Universe? Only a certain amount is visible, it's explained, due to the limited amount of time available for light to travel to the observer (whoever that may be) wherever they're observing from. We have no idea what's going on beyond that limit. However it's still part of the three dimensions of space; events beyond that limit are not in "another" (fifth or eleventh or whatever) dimension.

They're simply too remote to be observed. Suggestions about what happens to our system of coordinates under extreme conditions abound, all speculative, but whatever those conditions may be amounts to the same thing: we lack the resolution in our instruments to make observations.

Whether too distant, then, or too small or too fast (relative to the observer) are just limits. Perhaps you could imagine something moving at the speed of light, some things do apparently, well if you were that thing then relative to you an object such as the sun is what would appear to be moving. "Wow!" you might think, "I wonder how time is passing for that object?" Whether you'd see it as matter or radiation is immaterial here, just as is the question of how two superluminal objects (as they seem to us) may regard one another if they were on parallel trajectories. Their time axis would be very different from ours so their system of coordinates could perhaps be a "different" dimension – especially if rather than running in parallel they were going in opposite directions.

OK, all that assumes "direction" is from our point of view. From their point of view, we'd look like whatever we see when we notice things moving at light speed in opposite directions.

Perhaps if you think of them moving in opposite directions at light speed (from our point of view) like, say, two searchlights pointed in opposite directions you'll see that neither beam would come in contact with the other but that we could see both beams? No object could ever be illuminated by both searchlights. Jesus taught us about Love and what He says is always consistent. God's status in the universe eliminates hypocrisy BUT there are people out there claiming He uses special "magic" words with special "magic" meanings that nobody can understand. Concerning Love, for example, when Jesus said:

He was not teaching us something we could work out for ourselves. He's teaching us something we could NOT work out for ourselves. When people say that He means a special "magic" hate (that no-one's ever heard of) they're trying to distort His teaching. To make Jesus say things He did not actually say. Just because the devil is defeated does not mean that we can't see what his influence would be if he were not.

I am a homosexual agnostic male, and also a player of TF2, and I've always had a question; if the Christian God is indeed real, and being gay is such a horrible sin, how does he allow homosexuals to exist?

People say that it's because the devil influences people or something along those lines, but God is supposed to be all-powerful, am I correct?

By saying that the devil has more influence over "sinful homosexuals" such as myself, you're suggesting one of two things, either:

Do you believe in loving thy neighbour as your own Jesus asked you to do or do you believe in condemning other people for being who they are? It cannot be both.

You also mention the commandments as given by God which, correct me if I'm wrong, were established in the old testament? I have always found it peculiar how many modern day Christians choose to ignore the old testament when non-believers criticize it for it's questionable content, such as numerous occasions of the LORD threatening people with sexual violence, (Isaiah 3:16-17 KJV), (Jeremiah 13:15–26 NRSV), (Isaiah 13:9–16 NIV).

I am not a troll or a hater, just someone who has been been criticized for my sexual orientation many times by people like yourselves, been spoken down to numerous times in a condescendingly inappropriate manner, and even had people claiming I am an agent of the devil, whatever that means, so I would just like to be able to talk to some members of the Christian community about why they treat people such as I the way that they do and hopefully be civil about it.

In The New Testament (Romans 1 for example) God reiterates His views on the subject. Perhaps in your introduction you could explain where I'm going wrong, if your view of what God requires is in fact correct? I'll include a link because the topic is not really about TF2.
