You've never seen a Bible, have you? Nor have you seen anything of the world.

All human life started in the garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

God created Adam in His image, Eve was created later from Adam's rib.

Africans come in a range of colors, white in South Africa and mostly white in Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, and there are as you said black people in Africa, but they certainly aren't the only color. I must say I am disappointed by your racism towards Africans.

The Bible mentions that Jesus is white, and Jesus is God.

The Bible also tells us of the curse of Ham and how he and all his descendants are destined to be "servants of servants", one of Canaan's son's names, Cush, to this day means in dark in several languages.

The Bible even tells us that Ethiopians have a strange and unusual skin, much like leopards have spots, completely different from the normal skin colors of other people mentioned in the Bible.

The idea is that in all the testing the test subjects lose their humanity without companionship of some sort (being loved is a basic human need after all) so the cube is able to 'talk' and be their friend through all the hardships of being a test subject.

The cake is used by GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) as a way to motivate test subjects into finishing all the tests. Subjects in the world of Portal only get fed the basics by machinery and so a cake would be, essentially a slice of Heaven for them. If you had nothing but vitamins, water and mushed .. who knows what, you'd probably do anything for a cake.
