I think it's funny how incredibly ignorant and disgusting all you low-life scum of people actually are. Yes, I will give it to you that this band is famous and is a huge inspiration to a lot of young people all over america and the world. Yes, they wear makeup and have secret symbolism inside their music videos and pictures. The question rises though is it bad? He's wearing a cross on his arm maybe the point he is trying to make is that he is a christian having to fit in with this satanic or symbolic world and the cross on his shoulder is his way of standing up for his religion? My Chemical Romance has helped me through a lot of problems and depression, and instead of congratulating me and others in our success with overcoming sadness and pain you turn against us because it was at the help of an "evil" rock band, and not by the hand of your god. Well let me ask you this. If your god has a plan for everybody and this band has helped many young people overcome their problems and learn to love again, couldn't that have been his plan? Thank you I've hopefully proved my point you people are sick and disgusting and I hope you all have fun burning in hell while your god laughs at you for being an ignorant horrible person. Oh and go run to your bible and find your precious scripture that will save you and provide back up to the "truth" because I really don't give a piffle. We all gather together for a funeral, so let's kill people so we can hang out. But he's not actually telling people to kill their friends, he's just mocking funerals. It's very sarcastic. There was never even a studio version of that song. It was just live during concert once. Don't make too much of it. It's not condoning it and it's not recommending it and I can promise you that no one's ever heard it and said "oh that sounds like fun I'm going to go snort some cocaine now" so really you have nothing to worry about because Gerard is his own person and you cannot dictate what he sings or what people listen to so why try?

You tried and failed. My Chemical Romance made good music. And, well, they didn't just carelessly write songs. Everything has meaning, and usually it's a deeper meaning than what meets the eye. However, sometimes some of you dig a little too deep. I don't think you really understand what this band is all about. (No, I know that you don't understand what it's all about.) So just give it a rest, will you?

I should clarify that I don't mean 'loser' in a negative connotation. MCR agrees that they're losers to but they accept it. I mean losers in the sense that they don't have a lot of friends or have trouble being socially accepted. I just used that word because they used it in an interview once.

But they were never really emo. The main message they send is to not kill yourself and to keep holding on. They've saved a lot of people from suicide, including myself. They try to make everybody, no matter how alone or different or weird, feel like they're worth something and that it's okay to be a loser. This stupid 'emo gothpunk' rep they have is from people not taking the time to actually listen to their songs or their message.
