I'm looking for art. Art smells bad and rarely smiles. If it does, it means it's about to spit in your face.

Do you have some quotes from the Bible to back that up?Originally posted by Diesel Stanford View PostJesus' favorite band is Stryper. Even though Jesus actually did not have long hair.
But the Holy Spirit told me that MCR's music is deception.

This uttering of yours is just a tu quoque fallacy. Instead of (finally) engaging in a conversation about the actual content of this thread (the Bible and Jesus), you're simply trying to turn the tables on your interlocutor. Even if Mr. Much is a vile atheist sinner, it is his arguments that you should be assessing. The tu quoque entails that if you're wrong, your position remains wrong even if someone else is also wrong. That other person's position can be assessed independent of yours (and, in the case of Mr. Much, Jesus will eventually take care of that; Revelation 20:13; Glory to that).
I do admit that it is mildly entertaining to see two atheists fighting on a True Christian™ forum, it also makes Jesus sad. Of course you're not attacking Mr. Much's Faith® as he has none.
It is still unclear why our repeated attempts to ban him have failed - most likely because Jesus still has some great plans for him. Perhaps for you, too.
Actually, Mr. Much has realized that to make a meaningful conversation on God's Favorite Forum, you should use arguments that Jesus accepts. Within our context they are the only ones that matter. They can be found in the Bible. As Mr. Much understands this, he has actually studied the Bible. We are positive that in due course it will bring about a nice conversion into Fundamentalist True Christianity™. As you might realize by now, it is not enough to believe, you must also believe in the correct manner.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
These false teachers include, e.g., gamers, Catholics, CoE, etc.

Elmer

Re: My Chemical Romance - Emo False Christians!
Excerpts from the book should be easy to find. The "..Chemical Romances" bit is a sub-title, incidentally. The author is Irvine Welsh. Perhaps a quick read will indicate what informed my post.Originally posted by Vantheman4321 View PostAnd credit where credit is due,
Your post explaining why Romancing with Chemicals is bad was very detailed and made sense, though it's incorrect.
I 100 percent see what you mean, but it has nothing to do with drugs.
