Your entire post is remarkable in its ability to show the power of the Gospel in such a succinct, and yet personal way, but this bit right here really brought tears to my eyes. I defy any rational person to find a reason to disagree with this.

WHY ROMANCING WITH CHEMICALS MAKES YOU A BAD PERSON

Firstly, as has been observed before, it is absolutely impossible that anyone identifying themselves as having a “romance” with “chemicals” could be anything but demonic. Are you suggesting that the name of this band derives from anything other than consumption of illicit drugs? What else could it be? A rodenticide salesman fallen in love with a box of rat poison? I don’t think so. For heathens however there is little reason to avoid chemical intoxication. I've underlined the root of that word for a reason. Use of multiple chemicals would enhance the “romance” element I guess but is spiritually toxic. Remember, not all Christians led pristine lives before responding to Jesus. We are not your dumb parents for whom random drivel passes as an excuse. Oh is it darling? they may say. Of course you can go to the MCR concert pass my plastic and would you like some spending money. Little do they know, but we know because some of us were there too.

Christians have been delivered from and never think about this garbage. We have been delivered from filthiness, to whatever extent we ever engaged in it, and are now sin free. Praise Jesus! In the secular world it's quite different. And that's why we keep responding to posters like abigailxx .. yes, she's been banned and The Pastors know why, yet others will read her comment and wonder Yes! No! Why shouldn't I listen to the MCR? Here and throughout the thread, reasons are presented. Jesus is the answer. Chemicals are not.

No they can't. Why don't you post some evidence with your claims?

People do not float about, drifting from one delusion to another until they bump into God or maybe not or think an angel looks a bit like God and worship that. Or worship God if they feel like it. Or not.

God chooses who should be holy and without blame. He did so before the foundation of the world. These and only these people get saved. God has predestinated The Elect for Salvation. Everyone else remains as deserving of torture as when they were born and torture is what they get.

Do you have a better knowledge of this subject than God? Is that what you're saying? If your wisdom exceeds that of God, are you deserving of worship? And if not, why worship a God of inferior knowledge?

I apologize as I was a little unclear earlier, I am going to rephrase everything. God can't be around sin. I didn't mean to say He forgives all sins. Everyone can be saved. That's what I was trying to get at. Sorry. God loves the sinner, not the sin. God loves everyone, enough that He sent Jesus down, to die a gruesome death on the Cross, so that forgiveness is open for all who accept Him.

That doesn't make sense, dear. If God can't be around sin, then how can He be around the sinner who confesses and accepts Christ into their hearts? Or do you imagine a courier system of angels that relay the prayer to Heaven? In your set-up, can some angels be around sin without tainting the angel next in the relay?

And if God doesn't forgive all sins but nevertheless everyone can be saved, what was the function of Christ's sacrifice? Why would He endure such an uncomfortable long weekend if there was a less painful, less humiliating process to salvation? One that likely reaches more people than His plan did? Why bother with Plan A when Plan B works better and costs less?

Why do you say God loves the sinner when He claims the very opposite? Or are you so unfamiliar with His Word that you didn't know that?

You see, I do believe that Jesus died for the world. I believe that Jesus died and rose again. I believe that forgiveness is open for all. Don't you DARE tell me otherwise!

It is, if you're a Christian. As the ladies have already shown you where the Bible specifically commands the faithful to judge others, I'll take a different tack and use *gasp* logic */gasp*.

The Bible says that any sin is enough to send you to Hell, see James 2:10. Now imagine that a True Christian™ sees someone sinning. He/she will see the sinning, know that the sinner is endangering their soul, and tell them that what they're doing is wrong (i.e. engage in judging). By these actions, they may keep the other from going to Hell.

You, on the other hand, would just say, "oh, that's fine".

How are you helping them? You aren't. Is that "love" to you, to allow others to go to Hell?


When you spout stuff that has no Biblical foundation, and runs counter to what the Bible really says, then people will not assume that you've never read the Bible, they'll KNOW you've never read the Bible.

Yes, we should judge others righteously. If a Christian brother or sister is sinning, you should let them know that it's wrong. You should pray for them, as I am praying for you and everyone else on this forum. Many people on this particular forum are not judging righteously, and I merely tried to point that out, but I didn't word things well. I apologize.

You see, I do believe that Jesus died for the world. I believe that Jesus died and rose again. I believe that forgiveness is open for all. Don't you DARE tell me otherwise! I have HOPE in Jesus. His life, death, resurrection. All of it. Please don't assume I don't. We are to live our lives out for God. We are to show love for others. One way we can show that love is by righteous judgment. Although I disagree that anything in the previous post has anything to do with The Chemicals, some of his comments are accidentally correct. The point being that, due to their conduct and particularly their conduct when holding a pen and a paper serviette, we know that they have not read The Bible either. Or that if they have they have not understood it. Freaks romancing chemicals generally have very addled understanding of anything they read. I'm glad you asked! You had said you do read your Bible, and we find that most people who consider themselves Christians believe they read the Bible when in reality they read bits and pieces that appeal to their own personal, socially derived moral code. In reality, the Holy Bible has quite a bit to say about the importance of judging, and the responsibility of the True Christian™ to judge righteously.

We are compelled to apply Righteousness to our judgement, which we do because with Christ in our hearts, we walk the Walk of Righteousness (Proverbs 8:20):

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment:
thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty:
but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Leviticus 19:15

The Holy Bible tells you that you can identify the Righteous Man of God by his judgmentalism:

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
Psalm 37:30

Again, compelled to do so for the sake of the weary, lost soul:
