It all sounded good when he was preaching it but not a bit of it happened. and that was a HUGE audience as it is the largest church in Knoxville and coincidentally also a Baptist church. He's a Good God Fearing man that would never attempt the sort of thing posted here but like this post not enough research was done.

Let me lay a little ground work for you here so you are aware of my authoritary knowledge on the subject. I smoked for 25 years a pack and a half to two packs a day and wanted for a long time to quit smoking. I tried patches, which never even took the addiction edge off, pills which were supposed to work me away from the desire to smoke and never even phased me, I even went as far as trying hypnotism which was a joke and when none of that worked i eventually tried Vaping. I have been tobacco free now for almost 2 years and no longer have a desire to pick up a regular cigarette or use any other tobacco products.

THIS should be the kind of thing you are promoting with your congregation not shooting down and turning into some devil's craft or gateway to homosexuality. As with anything and everything else in life you have people that will sexualize anything. and vaping is no different than anything else. Any time you have the opportunity for creativity to be a part of anything someone is naturally going to try and sexualize it. The Poor morals or lack there of is what you should be attacking here not something you obviously are confused about.
