Fires in Colorado: Why?

When one reads about the raging fires in Colorado, the question is why? Here it is, the middle of the winter. It is not the fire season.

Only God could start such a fire. And God has a reason. The cities hardest hit are the two worst homer cities in Colorado. One of them, Superior, flaunts its homerism. It has the old standby of decadent homer sin, a bath house.

Did the mayor and leaders of Superior think they could rub God's nose in filth and suffer no consequences?

Mr. Mayor, aren't we just beating around the flaming bush here? It's too many faggots. There, I said it. The country is going queer faster than we can recruit soldiers for Christ and God is showing His displeasure. The tin tithers need to step up - to silver or gold at least - and bring in new prospects or else the country will be lost.
