Oh. My. God. I am speechless. I have no words. This picture really speaks for itself. The guy on the left () is the Governor of Colorado. Yes, really. You may not believe that, but you'll have no problem whatsoever believing that he's a Democrat.

Gov. Jared Polis (D-Colo.), the first openly gay man elected governor, married his longtime partner, Marlon Reis, Wednesday on the 18th anniversary of their first date day.

The traditional Jewish ceremony — which took place in Boulder, Colo., the birthplace of the governor — was the country’s first same-sex wedding for a sitting governor.

Polis released a statement Thursday following his wedding that he said was attended by “family and a few close friends.”


“We are both excited for this new chapter in our lives together, and our hearts are full with the blessings of health, love, and family,” he said.

And who is supposed to have blessed this unholy union of sodomistic Christ-killers? Certainly not Jesus against whom they have thrice sinned with their Judaism, homosexuality, and liberalism.

Polis, a former lawmaker, was elected governor in 2018 along when a record number of LGBT officials were elected to office. Gov. Kate Brown (D-Ore.), a bisexual woman, became the first openly LGBT person elected governor in 2016.

Please note that marijuana is legal in both Colorado and Oregon.

Polis and Reis became engaged in December after both had serious bouts with covid — including Reis being hospitalized, according to Colorado Public Radio.
“The greatest lesson we have learned over the past 18 months is that life as we know it can change in an instant,” Polis tweeted. “We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate our life together as a married couple.”

God, in His infinite mercy, was kind and loving enough to throw a big warning their way, but these jokers have gone and COMPLETELY missed the point.

There have been more than 646,000 cased [sic] of covid in Colorado and more than 7,600 deaths from the virus, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Most of those deaths were probably caused by mask asphyxiation or vaccine side effects.

Reis, an animal rights activist and writer, will be referred to as the First Gentleman.

I've always wondered about the vows in a homer "wedding." In an actual wedding the woman vows to obey her husband. How do they get around this in homer weddings? Do they both say, "I will obey his orders as long as he obeys my orders?" Or, does one agree to obey the other?

They certainly are some conspicuous hats! Dismissing the new Covenant means that they're attempting to obligate God in some way so that when He looks down He'll see the headgear and remember His promise. Its wording is very comprehensive with 613 provisions (a prime number) having finely detailed implementations with rewards and punishments articulated. The rewards are where this idea of obligation comes in.

Jesus is not saying we all need to carry lamps and bottles of oil, as He made clear in the first sentence: it's a comparison. This appears to be a midnight wedding on a very loose timetable; they'd fallen asleep and must have kept the lamps going to run out of oil. And then when the Groom arrived (eventually) he wouldn't let them in because he didn't know who they were! This level of mismanagement may seem incomprehensible but Jesus is making a very important point. Just because you've been invited is not alone a reason for you to be admitted.

Well, it does appear to be what they call a wedding dance; frankly, I think it's just a pick-up club for homers. Did you notice one woman in that huge room, dear Brother Lukes? I did not.
