Steve, I think you misunderstand the point of these forums. These forums are intended for True Christians™ to discuss amongst themselves the Glory of God, Bible study, and fellowship. This is not an evangelical board. When we try to convert others, as we are commanded to in the Bible, we go out and do it. We don't invite sinners into our home, church or forum.

2nd John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2nd John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2nd John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

That being said, we do love homosexuals and care about their salvation. Otherwise, why else would we warn them constantly about it being an abomination and a one-way ticket to Hell? If we hated them, we wouldn't want them to be Saved®, now would we?

Lastly, Jesus did not "hang out" with sinners and tax collectors. He never approved of their beliefs or behavior, and only associated with them to help them change their ways. I myself have ministered to many fallen women over the years, prostitutes especially. You have no idea how many of these women are so grateful that I came into their life and helped them find Jesus.

It is correct that the rainbow is a sign of God's promise to Noah not to destroy the world again. In itself, the rainbow is a beautiful symbol of God's love. However, the homosexual agenda has essentially hijacked the symbol so that one cannot look at it and think of fruity queers parading in the streets decked out in leather codpieces.

The homosexual agenda loves to mock God and that is why they stole His symbol. The rainbow is now a homosexual symbol thanks to their efforts. Just like how "gay" was a perfectly normal word that meant "happy", you can't say that word anymore in the old context. "I'm feeling really gay right now! I'm going to a party with my gay friends and we'll have a gay old time."

But why is it that Skittles are assumed to be that redfinition by the homosexuals and not the promise of God? Or even just an event of the weather?

We have to remember to "take our thoughts captive." When you see a rainbow and think "homosexual", you need to remind yourself of God's true meaning and remember that homosexuals need Christ just as much as you and me.

I did not realize this had already been addressed in this thread. I hit Post Reply on the first page, not realizing there were 34 more pages.

The people on this site seem be rather paranoid. Instead of being paranoid and condemning homosexuals, shouldn't you rather be sharing the love of Christ with them? Jesus hung out with tax collectors and sinners! We have to remember that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for US". That includes everyone on this forum and all the homosexuals.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Eph 2:8-9.

We need to bring this gift to the homosexuals instead of allowing them to remain in their sin and condemning them for it.

The Bible defined what the rainbow meant in Genesis. It was not the homosexuals' idea. You have come to identify the rainbow with homosexuals and not God's promise. Is that what you want to do?

He even plagiarized the entire life story of JESUS CHRIST years before it actually happened and gave it to false gods such as Horus to throw people in the distant future way off track and make them think that the entire life of JESUS CHRIST was derived from mythological characters that appeared before Him on the historical time line, and was therefore Himself mythological.

As True Christians, we know that the devil just studied the prophecies of the Bible thousands of years before they occurred and created lots of counterfeit saviors in other cultures. Simple as that. The discussion includes the origins of the candy, the manufacture's intent, the obvious social connections, and various product spinoffs. Do you think that we wasted 34 pages of bandwidth on something that we don't take seriously? We put a lot of time and effort (with links and quoted sources) to answer all of the questions and explain all of the ramifications.

Tell me, do you REALLY think of Skittles as gay? What about it being the color of the rainbow - God gave us the rainbow as a promise... It's a beautiful thing. Do you think eating Skittles makes you gay, or a gay lobbyist?

And please remember, I am here to get opinions, and as a Christian, I am open to the true word of God. I just do not think anything about Skittles are gay.

Bob4God, that verse revers to the serving of money and God, not Skittles and God. Mammon is the God of money/greed for money... Skittles are not used as currency so that verse does not apply here. And even more so, I do not think that Jay SERVES Skittles as such, he only likes eating them, as a straight male!!!
