So, I am new here, and I was wondering if I could get some advice. I come from a Christian home and have gone to church my entire life, but I struglle with homosexuality. I realize that it is wrong, but I can't seem to stop myself from finding men attractive. What do I do?

I am 19 years old. I go to a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Pennsylvania. I have had these feelings since I was eleven, and have never been able to do anything about them. The media says so many things about homosexuality... like that it's ok and what not, but the Bible says differently. It's all kind of confusing.

Let's look at what the Bible says about gays, shall we?

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." -Leviticus 20:13

That's right, GOD mandated the DEATH PENALTY to homosexuals in the Old Testament. How do you think GOD feels about such vile practices?

My guess is that, as with so many homosexuals, you are a product of your environment and have decided it's "cool" to be gay. Well, is it cool with GOD?

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature" -Romans 1:26

No! GOD calls these "vile affections!" GOD designed love, sex and marriage to be between a man and a woman! You are railing against the divine creation of a GOD who loves you so very deeply that He sent His own son to die temporarily to allow you to live for eternity! (Unless you continue to rebel, in which case GOD will boil you in hellfire for eternity to teach you just what happens to His disobedient children!)

Won't you give up your homosexual hobby and love JESUS instead? Doesn't it sound so much more enticing to worship GOD forever and ever?

SIMPLE --

The standard is that every human being he can be happy and healthy if you have a love life and sex.

Many just feel happy and satisfied with persons of other sex - but in the same way, many just feel happy and satisfied with persons of the same sex.

BEING GAY IS NOT SIN?

No. You can be sinful, eg overwhelming other people, damaging them, exploiting them, making them suffer, leading them to any kind of decline, whether it be homosexual or heterosexual. Being gay does not worsen anything - or better - as well as changes nothing be man or woman, have blue eyes or brown. Is just another dimension of things. It's always good to remember that the Bible also describes the deep love between two men: "Jônatas and David made a covenant because he loved him as to his own soul." (I Samuel 18:1-4). Words of David on Jônatas: "You were my deliciously sweet, your love I was more precious than love of women." (II Samuel 1:26).

If we believe that God made us in his image and likeness, and that God is the great creator - ie: it is creative ... - Where we see the creative quality in higher intensity in humanity? It is among the artists? Among the artists are not also a higher rate of homosexuality? It is an incredible beauty that God just go to the most excluded and say, 'I want you to speak in my name, and say to the rest of humanity that I do not exclude anyone. "
Ie: it is true that there are people who choose to exclude acts of selfishness - but, by their nature, no person was excluded - not by God.

Once achieved this awareness by humanity, the churches that are not open to respect and accept the gays are not fulfilling what God asks of them, and therefore
are not being truly Christian.

Jesus has some excellent advice on what you can do if your manparts are leading you into sin:

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Um, no. YOUR statement is entirely false. It's common knowledge that AIDS is caused by a virus transmitted by direct contact of bodily fluids. This can happen during heterosexual sex, homosexual sex, blood transfusions, sharing needles (in junkies), or during childbirth.
