If I am not mistaken, in the Bible at some point God says, "love thy neighbor as thou love yourself" or something of that sort.

A neighbor is someone who lives nextdoor to us, or on our block.

By loving our neighbors, we grow into strong, mini-communities/camps, so we can band together and defend ourselves against (or rebuke) others. A little like a Neighborhood Watch organization.

God™ could easily have written "Love everyone in the world as you do yourself", but obviously He did not.

Remember, He had all the time in the world to come up with the words he put in the Bible™, and He said what He means and means what He said.

Nobody said that queers aren't people. What we've said is that GOD tells us that they are "an abomination" and that unless they repent, they are bound for an eternity of torture in hell. It is our Christian duty to warn you about this.

By the way, the Bible tells us that not only homers (those "without natural affection") but also their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." Romans 1:31-32
