My hero is Jesus Christ who loves even the culturally despised people, including sexual sinners and prostitutes. Like Jesus Christ, I deliberately spend time with sinners with the loving goal to try to help them.

Contrary to false gossip, innuendo, and slander about me, I do not in any way 'hate' homosexuals, but I seek to lovingly share two types of messages to them, as I did with the young man called 'Lucien' in the news story: [1] It is possible to cease homosexual practices to avoid the unacceptable health risks associated with that behavior, and [2] the most important decision one can make is to establish a relationship with God for all eternity by trusting in Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins, including homosexual sins. If you talk with my travel assistant that the story called 'Lucien,' you will find I spent a great deal of time sharing scientific information on the desirability of abandoning homosexual intercourse, and I shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him in great detail.

This Christian family man is doing the LORD's work, and this is how the media distorts things?! I cannot help but to recall the following Scripture:

Matthew 5:10-12
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

The liberal press is SO smug.

It has accused godly George Rekers, founder of the anti-gay Family Research Council, of being gay. They accused him merely because he hired a girly boy to go on holiday with him. He explained he needed the girly boy to carry his luggage. Let's be rational here. Hiring someone from a girly boy site to help you with your luggage does not make you gay.

Then, there were the phony charges against our friend, Republican Rep. Mark Foley (FL). Before that they picked on Repulican Larry Craig (ID). And then, a true patriot, State Senator Republican Rep. Ray Ashburn (CA). And, among the most faithful, Brother Ted Haggard.

The pattern here is that each of these people properly spoke out against gays.

We who are trained to spot press manipulation see right through this evil game. Stop it lieberal press.

Judging by the build of his upper body and arms, I would say this young man would make a fine warrior for CHRIST. I would be willing to split the cost of renting him with you just to bring him over to our side.

The male escort hired by anti-gay activist George Alan Rekers has told Miami New Times the Baptist minister is a homosexual who paid him to provide body rubs once a day in the nude, during their ten-day vacation in Europe.

Rekers allegedly named his favorite maneuver the "long stroke" -- a complicated caress "across his penis, thigh... and his anus over the butt cheeks," as the escort puts it. "Rekers liked to be rubbed down there," he says.

In his first interview since New Times broke the story Tuesday, the 20-year-old escort, who prefers to go by the name Lucien, contradicts Rekers's contentions that he hired the escort to help carry his luggage and that he was trying to save the soul of a lost sinner.
Although Rekers does have physical ailments that make it difficult for him to haul suitcases, Lucien wasn't hired to carry luggage on their European vacation, the escort says.

"It's a situation where he's going against homosexuality when he is a homosexual," Lucien says. (When New Times called seeking comment, Rekers had turned his phone off. An email was not returned. He has termed the New Times article "slanderous" on his website.)
Lucien was interviewed late last night in the Fort Lauderdale house where he was laying low for the evening. The townhome he rents in a west Miami suburb has been inundated by uninvited guests since his identity was revealed by a blogger on Gawker shortly after the story broke Unzipped actually revealed Lucien's identity first (link NSFW).

Rekers's trip with Lucien has grabbed worldwide headlines and been the subject of monologues by Steven Colbert and Jay Leno.

Lucien decided to speak out after a heart-to-heart with a friend, Michael, who alerted him to the grim realities of his client's anti-gay activities. Lucien, who had originally declined to speak about the trip, now says he can do little good by protecting his erstwhile, fundamentalist client.

In the past 24 hours, Rekers, a board member at the National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) and cofounder of the Family Research Council, has claimed he took Lucien to Europe to inspire him to accept Jesus into his heart and renounce his homosexuality.

Lucien now offers Rekers a counterproposal: "In all honesty, he should disassociate himself from these [anti-gay] groups."

New Times spent more than three hours with Lucien in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Check back this afternoon for stories detailing the trip, the document Rekers asked Lucien to prepare in the hopes of preventing any future disclosures, and a character sketch of what we think is a brave kid -- one who dawdled for less than 24 hours before opting to tell an exceptionally painful story.

This just doesn't make sense. If Dr. Rekers is a homosexual, then why has he dedicated his whole life fighting homosexuality? He created NARTH and also founded the Family Research Council! If he was gay, he wouldn't be involved in creating these organizations!

No, if he was gay he would be a member of NAMBLA or the ACLU or something. It's funny how the media always says these conservative Christian men are actually gay. Do you see the founders of Gay Pride organizations coming out and revealing they are actually straight? That's poppycock and everyone knows it.

I have not the slightest doubt in my mind that Dr. Rekers brought this man on a vacation to witness to him. We at Landover Baptist have a notorious reputation for getting ourselves involved in sordid elements to bring the Good News to sinners who need it most. Whether it is Pastor Zeke visiting male brothels in Thailand to bring those slants to Christ, or Brother Monty making his bi-weekly visits to the truck stop bathrooms to help homosexuals overcome their weaknesses, or even myself cavorting with strippers and escorts in Vegas, we realize that sometimes that to spread the Gospel we have to enter into dens of iniquity.

Think about it: How can we save the unsaved when they are not allowed in our church doors? Exactly, we have to go out and find them and save them. And where do we find the unsaved? In the dirtiest places imaginable doing the dirtiest things you can think of.

I've used that website to hire boys to help me with yard work. The nice thing about it is that they're all shirtless so I can visually assess their ability to hoe. I only wish they had videos of them demonstrating their weeding skills using one of the Shake Weights! A couple of those boys looked like they had big muscles, but they had a horrible grip, no technique at all and they wore out much too quickly, still had milkweed in my brussel sprouts!
