As Morgana says, in her experience of the marriage business and engagement of two years is only normal if one party is out of the country, but you and BTB are both in Freehold, I find it had to believe that if you loved her you could not have found time in your busy schedule at some point in the last seven years to get married.

I know you seem to have a thing against organized religion...but my church has an awesome spaghetti dinner in the fall! Even people who are not church members attend because it is that famous! That dinner is not until November but if you want to meet before then there is always Olive Garden, I don't know how their spaghetti is though.

It is as far from real Italian food as you can possibly get. I don't care how good their bread-sticks are (they are really good), but they are just not a proper restaurant.

Okay..you got me there...but Olive Garden is much better than Fazoli's. I usually got the soup, I liked their Minestrone and can eat a lot of it.
Where I live there are not a lot of real Italian places to eat, just a lot of Italians.

Mmm I wager that is down to some within those Churches, being close to understanding the True nature of Our Lord God The Flying Spaghetti Monster. Some on that path have lost their way a little like the Sea of Faith group, but as they have chosen a nautical reference I have hope that in time they will come to understand the importance of Pirates in our history, their place in Lord Noodles creation, they have already rejected the idea of "god" as defined by traditional Abrahamic religion, yes they have "thrown out the baby with the bath water" so to speak but I have hope that in time they will find the path to truth and accept His Noodleness as the One True God.

This thread started out with some fool suggesting that our beloved Pastor Ezekiel is obsessed over certain matters. In truth, the Bible has much to say on such matters, and has been saying it far longer than Pastor Ezekiel has.

Putting that issue aside, this thread then veered into the highly personal matter of the good Pastor's wedding plans vis a vis our Sister Bible Thumping Blonde. The exact nature of their eventual nuptials is between them and Jesus. So everyonr else can gluteous maximus out.

Oh, and just so you know, straight people can and do wait for each other all the time. One couple I know waited 16 and a half years before they finally got around to you-know-what.

Regarding the final bizarre twist of this thread-- the good folk at LBC are polite enough to allow all sorts of nonsense about pastafarianism to be bandied about here on our forum. But for the love of Jesus, when a thread is entitled "Homosexuality" could you not leave out discussions of the Olive Garden and just stick to sodomy? Is it really so much to ask?

You think the Olive Garden is sleazy? All right it is not a 5 star restaurant but hey...for meeting for lunch the first time it is a safe place!

Plus this from a man who berated me for not being married!!! WOW! I find a man that likes Spaghetti too! Granted I think he takes this spaghetti thing too far but hey he is the only one on this forum that will talk to me with out throwing insults!

I will make my position clear on sexuality, it is a personally thing, and not for others to say if it is right of wrong, just that Zekie Boy needs to be perfectly honest with BTB and not just keep putting her off, some may even come to think that he is using her as a beard.
