What are your thoughts on transsexuals?

I am about to go to bed. But I'd love to hear what you all think about transsexuality and the idea that gender is malleable. It is something that has interested me for a while and I'd like to hear a fresh discussion on it.

Unfortunately I won't reply for a few hours, but I hope it keeps peaceful enough until I get back.

I'm all for it, while god doesn't make mistakes, usually, mother nature can mess things up from time to time. I have a few friends that are transgender and one is actually getting his top surgery done this december to have his breasts removed. Another friend isn't even 18 yet and has come out that he is for all intensive purposes male, I also have a few other friends that are trans female as well, but of course the transition process is hard, and they're both at the begining stages of it.



The whole having to wait 300 seconds thing helps me want to write more detailed posts /offtopic

True it does say that Lisa, but if they're not men after all it's not a problem any more. I heard that Iran has got the number 2 spot for sex-change operations and they also got them no homers at all. Why, the government even pays for half of the cost! I don't rightly know how Biblical that is as a solution, on account of how is a Mohammadan country, but it seems to be working for them. Maybe we should give it a try to address our homer problem?

Sister Charli, transsexuals are different to eunuchs. Eunuchs have no man bits while transsexuals have an operation to change the body to became female.

Yet god has said to me, and many others who don't follow the bible so strictly, that he doesn't hate those who have these tendencies. What a lot of Christians fail to realize, is that god is a changing and evolving being just like the rest of us.

Gender is not 'malleable' -- one cannot knead one's gentialia into the opposing shape! We ought to accept the gender that GOD gave us: the gender that He blessed* or cursed** us with.
